My old life returns

         Jess missed her old life especially her boyfriend. But she couldn't make contact with anyone not after what had happened nine years ago. The ringing of the phone came loud in the quiet house, Jess didn't get very many phone calls she tried to avoid making friends to keep her cover but it seemed like it was getting harder and harder. She missed her friends, they were a part of her. She reached for the phone hesitant something seemed odd."hello?".... A familiar voice came in a panic from the other end, "Jess.... it's your father.... he's been murdered!" I nearly screamed my father and I had been so close and now... he was gone it couldn't be her daddy was gone! Her mother spoke gently " Jess his last request was that you come to his funeral." How could I go to his funeral it was to hard to even say goodbye. Goodbyes, she certainly hadn't said hers when she had " died" her friends, family, and most importantly her boyfriend had gone to her funeral. But it had all been a fake. Jess miss him like crazy, she had loved him with all her heart but she couldn't put them in danger not him of course. Jess would have to go to her hometown and attended the funeral but what would happen if she saw him, he had been so hot and sexy! But she was engaged now, and she was getting married in 2 months. That is if she could get over her fathers murder. Jess found herself weeping on the floor curled into a ball, unable to move. Would her old life be remembered? Would people recognize her?
