Napangise si Isabella when Edmund and Fernand went inside her prison cell. Napasandal siya sa upuan and rock it back and forth.
"What would we talk about mate?" She lace her voice with pure innocence.
Umupo ang matanda sa harap niya while she wink at Edmund who is avoiding his gaze. She pouted after that.
"Awww don't you like me mate? Your avoiding an innocent oops not innocent lady here!."
Parang natauhan si Edmund but he still avoided his gaze at her, napatikhim si Fernand and she just smile. A creepy one.
"You know what I want to talk about!" Asar na sabi ni Fernand. Napahawak si Isabella sa kanyang dibdib at nag iinarte na nagulat.
"I do!?" Lalong napangise si Isabella ng hindi na maipinta ang mukha ni Mr. Montenegro.
Napasuntok si Fernand sa table na namamagitan sa kanila ng batang 'to. "Don't play dumb with me ERIS. Bakit mo alam na magkakagulo sa UNDERWORLD? You clean it 6 years ago but why it is coming back?"
"Oh." Napa tap sa chin ang babae. "Let see, got it." She tilted her head and smiled. "Because they want power. Oh the power they possess and bring down lowlife creatures. They like killing no? The screams of there victims."
Napatango tango parin si Isabella at pumalakpak. "And oh, i love this part. They wanna see blood. Red thick shiny blood to have there savage heart turning, no?"
Natahimik ang dalawang lalaki sa sinabi ni Isabella. Nagpatuloy si Isabella sa kanyang sinabi.
"Power can make a person grow hungry. If they taste that power -" Nilapit nito ang mukha sa matanda.
"They won't stop. A human being that crave that existence won't have enough. Power is limitless mate!"
Magsasalita na sana si Fernand when Isabella shush him. A smile form on her ruby lips. "And you want me to clean it for you ay't old man? Even if its against your will?"
"Ano pong pinagsasabi ng batang 'to Chief?" Gulat na tanong ni Edmund sa kanyang nakakataas.
Napatingin sila sa labing siyam na taong gulang na dalaga na kumakain ng lollipop. Napahimas si Fernand sa kanyang sentido.
"What she said. I'm going to free the goddess of destruction!." Napangise si Isabella sa kanyang narinig.
