I straighten up my room while I nervously wait for Cas to show up. I'm going to tell him today. I have to. I've been holding it in for a week and a half now. Today is officially the day. I breathe out and plug my phone into the charger.

Since my mom isn't home, she put Beckett in charge to watch over us. I know he's going to be stalking us from the basement so I promised him we'd stay in the living room. I roll my eyes at the thought.

Just as I'm picking up a CD and putting it on my stand, I hear the doorbell ring and immediately jump up, running out of my room and down the stairs.

"I got it!" I yell but it's too late, Beckett is already at the door, pulling it open. I remind myself to yell at him later but drop it when I see Cas standing in my doorway, a smile plastered on his face. I smile back at him and hug his tall body, his arms wrapped around me and hiding me.

"Hey, sweetie," he chuckles. I've missed him so much even though it's only been a few days since I've seen him.

"Hi," I smile with a slight giggle and pull back to find my brother standing there gagging. I hide my face in Cas's arms and he holds me close.

"How's my girl been holding up?" He looks down at me and smiles as I see Beckett roll his eyes and go down to the basement.

"I'm okay. Mom's not home so she said we have to stay in the living room. We have movies we can watch though. I'm sorry, I probably should've told you before you drove all the way here..." I trail off nervously, just now thinking that maybe he wouldn't have wanted to come over if we couldn't make out.

"Charlie, it's okay, sweetie," He laughs. God, I love him. "What movies do you have?" he says as his eyes flicker behind me, something I'm far too accustomed to now to bother with asking him what he's looking at.

"Well, we have a few DVDs and Netflix so basically anything you want to watch," I say as Cas grabs my hand and takes me to the couch. We sit down and get comfortable with each other, him half laying half sitting up against the arm of the couch and me laying on his chest. I move around a little bit and feel the hard metal on my abdomen.

"I thought you said you were done with this," I sigh and pull up the bottom of his shirt a little so his handgun is in view, making sure the safety is on.

"Char, come on. I told you, it's just for safety. I don't know what's going on inside your brother's head," Cas laughs a little, trying to lighten the mood but I just glare at him.

"I told you it makes me feel really uncomfortable when you have it around me. I don't understand why you need to 'protect yourself,' it's just me," I try convincing him. He always has to have a need for that damn beat up piece of metal and I absolutely hate it.

"It's fine, Charlie. Drop it," he says, demanding me like he always does. I sigh out of defeat and lay back down on his chest as he scrolls through Netflix.

After a couple minutes of silence full of tension, I lean up and give him a short kiss on the cheek. The way he's staring at the screen blankly and flipping to a new movie every second without reading the descriptions tells me what's coming next. He didn't react when I kissed him, like he didn't notice I was there at all. It's going to happen. I know it is. All I can do is sit here and wait for him to snap.

"Shut up," he snaps and I sigh. This one isn't going to be good. As if they ever are good. I don't know if I'll be able to tell him now that he's in one of his moods.  "Shut up," he repeats.

"Cas, I'm not saying anything, baby. Just calm down." I sit up and run my fingers through his hair.

"Shut. Up," he seethes. Just as I try to tell him to calm down, he abruptly stands up and screams, "Shut up!"
