Obsession - Chapter One

Putting my phone down on the counter, I turned around to grab something from the cabinet. The only problem being I was 5'4 and couldn't reach it so I had to stand on the counter to actually reach it. It was something common for me, having to do this every morning, unless Alex was home.
Alex is my current boyfriend of three years, he's in college while I work at a diner, no I do not pay everything myself, after getting out of class, Alex goes to his job. He is gone from seven am until eight pm. Sure, I get lonely but it was okay.
I grabbed the can of soup I was going to make for Alex, he was in bed all yesterday and today, he had a terrible flu. I noticed there was a sticky note on the can and pulled it off.

I smiled at the thought of Alex writing this and chuckle because he's going to be the one to eat it. I hopped off the counter and hummed along to my favorite song. My phone rang and I picked it up, it was a message.

My eyes widened and I dropped my phone on the floor. I was in fact singing, Moments by One Direction.
