Exams just ended, second semester is over with, grade 11 is done. A huge wave of calm is washed over everyone. We're all in a state relief and excitement for the next two summer months. It's 2:00 PM right now and there's a few hours to kill before going downtown to watch an outdoor movie. We say our good byes, head home to clean up, and decide to meet up everyone there at 5:00 PM. Worth and I head to my blue minicoop and drive to her place to get dressed. I change into a colourful pastel romper, black vans, and jean jacket. You decide on an all black ensemble, jean shorts, bralette croptop, leather jacket, and converse. With a few quick looks in the mirror we grab our boards and backpacks and head out the door. I park a good five minute walk away from where were suppose - because downtown. The venue isn't huge, Kat had gotten us free tickets through her dad's job. The park is comfortably crowded, and tress spaced out like mini forest. Looking around for anyone we know we hear, "Vid! Anns! Over here!" shout Kait and Kat. Our eyes finally see them and we head on over to our claimed space. There's blankets, beanbags, and pillows set out everywhere, with bulb lights strung from the trees, and a few hammocks here and there. The sun is starting to set, and the weather is getting a bit cooler, warm but breezier, and there's music playing from the speakers (Rihanna). As were settling in more people start to come. "Hey wana go get food before the movie starts?" You asks. We all get out lazy asses up and head to the food stands. We all decide to pool our money and get large sums of popcorn, chocolate, and soft pretzels. We bring the food back to our pillows and everyone is finally here (Kait, Alex(Kaits gf), Kat, me, and you). An ice cream truck pulls up and you and I run over. After getting our ice cream, your foot catches on a rock, you trip over, getting ice cream all over your shoes and a boy waiting behind in line.
