The woman rolled and ducked underneath the table, gun at ready. Her eyes trained in on the targets behind the cabinet, their souls glowing bright green. The man jumped over the cabinet and kicked one of the targets, sending him flying. The woman shot the arm of the second assailant as he raised his knife. The man's soul glowed bright red. The woman spun around, as the third assailant entered the room, and began firing at random, killing both of his allies. The woman began to run towards a more superior refuge, but was caught in the hail of bullets. She fell with a cry. The man leapt over the cabinet, and everything separating him from the final target. A single kick to the forehead killed him. Most likely from the lack of brains, all which were sliding down the parallel wall, making a disgusting noise. The man walked over to the woman, but instead found a five-year-old. He couldn't contain his laughter.

Zeki wore her shirt, as nothing else fit her anymore, and she followed her husband, Cassius, who had yet to stop laughing under his breath.

"Shut up." She breathed out, annoyed. Cassius only laughed louder. She stomped up the front steps before loudly entering the house, only to be greeted by her In-Laws. Mercifully, they were unlike her husband and didn't mock her.

"Be careful, Zeki has a short temper!" Zeki stamped Cassius' foot and he jumped, mewling in pain. Zeki's mother-in-law and Cassius' mother, Laci, came over and patted her son's shoulder and walked over to Zeki.

"Zeki, what happened?"

"Well, Cassius and I split up as we entered the premises, and he was to be taking on The Giant, and I was to connect Jodie to the computers, and then we were to re-join, and capture the other two targets, bu-ut, Cassius didn't deal with The Giant, and I was shot!" She stared pointedly at Cassius, who was giggling again. Termicka, Cassius' younger sister walked in with her two youngest children, Angus and Lila. Angus ran over to Zeki, and looked at her oddly. He held out his hand.

"Hello, my name's Angus." Zeki looked at Angus, unimpressed.

"It's Zeki, Angus." Cassius giggled.

"You're cute when you say your name with your baby's voice." Cassius' other foot was suddenly in pain.

"No, Zeki's older."

"Not anymore. Remember, I can get younger when things hit me." He walked away, unconvinced.

"Zeki, what happened?" Termicka came over, Lila hiding behind her leg.

"Ask your mother." Zeki screwed her eyes shut, and suddenly felt very tired.

"Everything 'kay, Zeki?" Cassius pushed past his family to get to his wife, who was now swaying.

"Y-yeah. I'm just tired from the switch." Cassius picked up Zeki and carried her to their bedroom. Despite using the kinetic energy from being shot, she still had to convert the energy, even though it was subconscious and not something she could control. She was asleep within minutes.

Zeki sat wearing a set of clothes she kept on hand, her tiny body too small for them. She sat on the couch, alongside Cassius. They were attempting to throw little rice grains into a cup on the coffee table. The family, consisting of Brenda and Nolan, Cassius' grandparents, Laci and Garvan, his parents, Termicka and her husband Amir, Jodie and Johan, and Cassius and Zeki. Cassius had numerous siblings, uncles and unties, and even more nieces, nephews and cousins were an odd bunch. None of Zeki's biological family were alive. The small section of the huge, immortal family were investigators and detectives, solving crimes of their personal choosing. They were deciding on their next case, and it was a tug of war between a case of missing children and a mass murderer.

"But zee killer haz killet more zan schiltren are missing." Cassius decided he would be speaking in a German accent.

"Doesn't matter, I say children are more important." Eventually, the argument died down and it was decided they would investigate the missing children, as the authorities were more focused on the killer.

"So, first off, there's not much similar about the 31 children that have gone missing. The majority are girls, but there have been 5 recorded male kidnappings. Only two are from the same city, and all have gone missing in either Florida, Georgia, Alabama or Tennessee, the majority in Tennessee. The children are all from big cities and are under the age of seven, and all known to be smart. Their parents are either abusive, alcoholics, drug-addicts or they're in foster homes, except for four cases all in Tennessee." Jodie put down her computer, facts scrawled across the screen.

"Tennessee seems the best place to go." Everyone agreed with Nolan.

"How are we going to find this group. And what if they're more missing children?" Everyone paused at Zeki's words.

It was Cassius who spoke up. "Simple. Let's assume for now that the 31 we know of are the only ones taken, and if we set up surveillance in a few schools, we can monitor any suspicious movement, along with the suspicious people." His smile widened. "Besides, we have a little girl we can enrol." Zeki's eyes widened.

"How about we go back to the Killer case?"

"Nup, we're in on this one Zeki."

"Wait, that's a good point." Termicka sat forward and pointed at Cassius. "We can enrol Zeki in a school we think that has eyes on it, and not only can she plant bugs, she can attract attention, and we can monitor anyone around her. If they're going for smart kids, she'd be perfect." Zeki didn't approve.
