Its gone.
I sat silently in the pouring rain watching the flames overtake my beautiful bar & grill.
Lightning had struck a tree, crashed into my precious establishment, lit the place on fire, reacted badly with the alcohol, and made the whole place practically explode in a magnificent explosions of wasted late night work and shattered dreams.
I fell to my knees watching a safe distance as my work; my baby, burned to the ground. I began to sob.
A fire truck and a few police vehicles showed up.
Even with the horrible storm and pouring rain it took more than a few hours to put out the fire.
Eventually my employees and a few of my regulars came to comfort me.
"So, this has to suck. Lost your house and business, eh, Jaxy."
I stopped my sobbing to look up at Undel. He was a short man originally from Mexico and very proud of that fact. He was horribly annoying. And tried his best to get on my nerves.
"Don't call me that." I let out bitterly.
"Sorry, Jaxson. Just you know. I know you kinda need a place to stay and I wouldn't mind you staying with me." He explained.
I began to sob harder.
"Am I really that bad?" He asked with a slight smirk.
"Yes!" I sobbed.
