Stella: I'm finally done with highschool, taking a year off before I go to college is exactly what I need!
Mom: I understand you feel the need to take a break and you think this is the right decision but, is this something you really want to do?
Stella: Yes mom, I'm sure!
Mom: What do you plan on doing for a while year? I hope you don't spend it doing nothing, slouching around.
Stella: Of course not. I have a plan in mind actually... I was thinking that I could spend a year in Cali with aunty Vanessa.
Mom: You know my sister and I are not on good terms right now. How do you even know she would let you stay with her?
Stella: I called her in the beginning of the school year and we've been talking about it ever since. She even cleared out a room for me to stay in. I have enough money saved from both my allowances and my job for a ticket and spending money. And I know you and aunty Vanessa aren't getting along right now but please let me do this!
Mom: *sighs* I will call her JUST to make sure that she's okay with it but that's it, if you get in trouble out there, I will personally fly a plane to California and drag you back to New York.
Stella:*Stella jumps on her mom for a hug and screams* Thank you so much mom, I love you, I promise I won't do anything I'm not supposed to!!!
Mom: You're welcome honey *smiles*, Oh God you're choking me now *laughs* When do you plan on leaving?
Stella: Next week, which reminds me I need to start packing.
Mom: Wow thanks for telling me this ahead of time. How do your think your dad is going to handle this?
Stella: Oh yea I haven't really thought about that...
*Dad walks from behind the wall into the kitchen*
Dad: Although it's not the best decision and I don't agree, I will however allow it, you are an adult now. But you have to promise you will call us everyday and you will give NO trouble to your aunt.
Stella: Like I said to mom I promise that I won't. You guys are the best parents ever, I love you guys so much!
*Stella's runs upstairs to call her aunt*
