A twinkling laugh caught the wind as it launched from her throat. The brightness of a thousand stars glows in her eyes. The night suits her like a designer coat. Warm in its wool, she smiles. She blinds the poor moons of Jupiter with her teeth. Each one is happy to fall to so much joy. Inky black hair flows in the soft breezes. It lets her disappear in the sky. She forgets everything about herself and becomes the darkness itself. She welcomes the tired people into her grip. The sun fights against her now. Her hair returning to her body and the stars going away. Her tears become the clouds the sun paints on. The colors are too brash and bold for her sky. Instead of the calm black sky she loved, there were pinks and oranges and reds. Each a color she could not become. Her heavenly mission forgotten when she could not blend with the new sky. This is the tragedy of the day.
