Unthinkable

"I love you."
He leaned down slowly, his eyes fixed on her rosy, shaking lips, he could feel her frequent breath, her beating heart. He leaned enough leaving few inches between his lips and hers, allowing her to close the gap and to reach him.
It was scripted as Oliver and Felicity's first kiss, but it was their first too, Stephen and Emily.
It just felt amazing! It lasted for seconds, as it gave both of them all the feelings that a good kiss would give. As Stephen broke it softly, slowly, he looked at her blushing cheeks as her eyes were still closed savoring the kiss. He was playing his role as Oliver Queen, he was reminding himself all the the time that this shouldn't be happening to him, that those feelings are fake, that the moment his lips met hers was just an act to please the fandom, and so was she.

After some other takes, Stephen went to discuss the storyline with Marc on the set, it was 11PM and most of the crew went to take a break. She sat with Colton and David, trying to avoid Stephen for some reasons she didn't know herself, they were talking about random stuff, but her head was completely not with them, she couldn't stop thinking about that moment, she smiled to herself when Colton caught her daydreaming.
"Girl, you've finally been kissed! That's so exciting huh?"
"And by you you mean Felicity." She corrected him with an emotionless voice, keeping her head down on her phone.
"Easy! why so angry love? Did something happen? Was the kiss so bad that you didn't like it? If I were you I'd make out immediately! Damn he's Stephen Freaking Amell!" Colton said trying to make her laugh, and he did.
"STOP!" She said laughing, "You've no idea how disgusting is imagining you guys do that!"
"So?" He asked curiously
Emily hesitated a little before saying finally "Maybe they'll delete it in the final product which is really sad, I really want Olicity to happen." She tried to change the subject avoiding any discussion about her... Feelings.
"Yeah, we all do" David responded, "I'm gonna get some snacks, wanna come?"
Colton stood "Yeah I'm dying of hunger, you coming Em?"
She was about to answer when her phone rang, it was Stephen, she immediately hid the screen as she looked up to Colton "Well I have to take this, see ya around!". They left as she walked her way to her trailer "Hey there!"
"Hey Em! You're free?"
"Umm... Yeah, what's up?"
"I was thinking if you could bring the gang to my trailer, House of Cards is streaming in half an hour."
She looked at her watch, it was 11:30PM, they'll be back to film a scene with Manu and Katie in two hours at most, "Well, the gang aren't here, I'm on my own."
"You're coming or not?"
His voice through the phone sounded sharp and playful, he was being friendly, but also somehow he sounded... Sexy.
"Coming."

Stephen knew she'd come by her own, he also knew that she'd like to hangout with the cast, especially with Colton, her best friend, but when it comes to Stephen, the 'friendship' won't have the same taste, it always feels different. Ten minutes later, he heard a knock on his door, he rushed to open it.
"I totally forgot about the season premiere, you know." She entered his trailer, taking off her jacket "But if they call us in the middle of the episode I'll be so pissed."
Stephen chuckled as he sat on the couch in front of the TV "Just be thankful you're lucky enough to catch it."
She looked at him, smiling "Yeah, thank you Mr. Amell for saving my miserable night."
"Just sit." He said, she sat next to him, leaving a space between them, there still be twenty minutes before the show begins, so she took her phone and started surfing Twitter.
It wasn't the first time for them to be alone in the same room, they used to joke around like friends do, but this time it felt different, the atmosphere was surprisingly filled with that weird attraction that all of a sudden turned into something they both could feel for the first time, they tried to behave normally but something was off. Emily could see him from the corner of her eye, he was looking at her.
"You did good tonight, you know?"
Her heart jumped with a hard beating as she heard his words.
"As it is always known." She said, trying to be her normal silly self, avoiding any eye contact.
"That's not exactly what I expected you to say."
"Then what did you expect?" Her eyes still locking on her phone.
"Stop pretending Emily, you know what I'm talking about."
Emily decided finally to face him, as long as the subject is open she can't hide anymore. "The fictional kiss? Yeah, is was good!"
"That's the smart Emily I know!" He said jokingly. "I know it's your first time on the show so I wanted to make sure it was okay."
Emily smiled, looking back at her phone, "Yeah, I'll take it from the guy who made out with every female co-worker but me.". Stephen looked down for a while before looking at her again "I know it's awkward, but I want us to act normal about those kind of things, Olicity is getting real so... "
Emily looked at him "I am acting normal."
"I know, just know that Olicity is happening because of our... Chemistry."
She never took her eyes off of his, neither did he, they have this attraction between their eyes that can't be cut easily, with a single look they could tell so much things without even using words.
"Being a regular on the show has changed my life, and that's also... Because of our chemistry." She said softly. He didn't say anything but smiled, and the air between them has filled with that... kind of tension, again.
"It's funny, when you think about it, you and me I mean..." She said before realizing her words "I mean it's so-"
"Unthinkable." He interrupted her, still smiling, she laughed before saying "Yeah, so unthinkable, started from the bottom now we're here." She finally took her eyes away from his and began to sing that Drake song with a low voice as Stephen chuckled quietly, he always enjoys listening to her rapping and being funny, he simply enjoys her company, her being herself, so genuine, as she enjoys being with him, she found him a little childish and a little manly, he's a kind of a man she likes. They enjoy each other's company, that's what created that chemistry.
