I pressed the pedal, ever so lightly. The car shot forward, I pressed down on the brake, and the car came to a fast stop. I lifted my foot and pressed down on the pedal, and the car went forward. I took a sharp turn and slammed down on the brakes. The car came to a stop. Edward chuckled. "Violent, Mrs.Cullen," He was at my side at a second, opening my door. "I'm no human anymore, I think I can open my own door." I murmured, hopping out. He smirked, "Force of habit" I shrugged, and we were in the Cullen house in half a second. "Bella!" Esme called out in her beautiful voice, running out to hug me. "Hey!" I said, hugging her. "Renesmee's a gift." I smiled, "What this time?" "Why, Bella. She has done so much! She opened the door-" I looked at Esme. "Opened... Opened a door?"I wasn't there, she opened a door. That's a miracle! "Yes! She did, indeed-" Renesmee came over to us. "Momma! Momma! I ate a cookie! I ate a cookie!" I smiled. "I thought she preferred blood more then human food?" Esme looked at Renesmee. "Like I said, she's a gift..." Esme turned her torso to look at me as Renesmee showed her dimples and teeth in a smile. "Renesmee... She does prefer... blood.. But we challenged her to try human food, and she took that challenge. I'm so proud of her, Bella. Oh, so very proud." I smiled. "I'm proud, too. She's growing up so fast!" "A bit too fast!" Me and Esme laughed for a minute, but then Carlisle came over to us. "We need to leave, now!" He yelled. "What?" Esme asked. "The Volturi. They want Edward and Renesmee, I think Bella also! We need to go, now." I looked at Renesmee, who looked at me, worried.
