The gleaming sun beamed through the window, casting the light towards my eyes. I woke up to the sound of a bash of pots and pans from downstairs in the Pokemon centre's kitchen. My paws padded down the stairs approaching my trainer, Jaden. He was an interesting trainer. He had ash brown hair that seemed very loose. He's always kind and has an interesting personality. His dream is to create the ultimate team to earn all the gym badges and become the pokemon champion. We also have a strong bond together. But something gleams in his eyes. As if I wasn't enough for him.

"Morning, Moonlight!" Jaden greeted as I jumped into his arms. "I've been trying to figure out how to turn you into an Umbreon. But no luck yet" he said as he pulled out his poke dex. That's right, I'm an eevee. Jaden has been trying to turn me into an Umbreon for a while now. He thinks I'd be stronger. "Ready to train some more?" Jaden smiled as he stood up, opening the door for me. We walked out and was greeted by nurse joy. "Bye Jaden!" She chimed as we walked outside. I hopped on Jadens shoulder as we walked down a path on a new route. Jaden's been trying to capture new Pokemon to form a stronger team. My fear is that he'll give up hope on me one day...but maybe if I transform into an Umbreon, I might be stronger.

We walked through the grass all day, searching for more Pokémon. Or at least Pokémon that seemed strong enough for Jaden. We eventually took a break on a bench to watch the sun set. I watched Jaden. He seemed upset, but I can't be sure. If only I could talk to him. "Moonlight, do you think there's more for us out there? Do you think...that we can become stronger? As a team..." A tear rolled down Jaden's cheek. I could tell that he wasn't sure what to do...that he was scared. Or at least not sure about me. Or himself. Jaden stood up and stroked my fur, smiling. "Don't worry, Moonlight. We'll get through this." He picked me up and we walked back to the grassy patches.

The sun had set and it was night. The black sky glimmered, the moon at its highest peak, full and bright. Jaden and I strolled around the grass, hoping to get lucky. We were caught in battle. Since I was Jaden's only strong Pokémon, I helped him battle. The Pokémon we ran into was a Mareep. Mareep's final evolution was strong, so Jaden decided to try and catch it. "Moonlight, use Quick attack!" I ran towards the Mareep, but Jaden forgot it was an electric type. I hit the Mareep, but was afterwards paralyzed. I couldn't move. It felt like my paws were glued to the ground. Lucky, Jaden had a paralysis antidote. We kept battling, and I avoided getting paralyzed.

Eventually, the Mareep was weak enough to capture. Jaden pulled out a dusty like poke ball from his bag. Determination in his eyes, he threw it, concentrated on the spin of the ball. The ball enclosed Mareep inside, as if it was eating it whole. The ball rolled there times, to the point where Mareep was now Jaden's new Pokémon. A burst of excitement gleamed in Jaden's eyes. He picked me up and hugged me. But there was a strange sensation within me. It felt tingly. Jaden put me down and watched as blue swirls of light swarmed around me. I was evolving.

It felt weird at first. My body was changing shape almost entirely. My tail changes, my ears...even my body shape. And before I knew it, I had evolved. Jaden seemed as happy as ever. I was an Umbreon. Jaden's dream for a long time had finally became a reality. The ring on my fore head started to glow yellow, as if it were a neon glow stick. "Whoa! Moonlight, you're glowing!" Jaden said as he picked me up. "Of course....Umbreon is a dark type Pokemon. "Why didn't I think of this before!" Jaden said, gazing at the stars. "We better get back to the Pokémon centre." Jaden said, putting me on his shoulder. We walked into the Pokémon centre and said goodnight to nurse joy, who was ecstatic to see us. We walked up to a room to get some sleep. "We have a big day tomorrow." Jaden said as he tucked himself into bed. I dozed off, tired looking out the window at the night sky, hoping that Jaden wouldn't give up hope.
