Why is it like this
So dark inside
And we're sent looking
For the light
Why is it like this
So very gloomy
So many tears shed
And our eyes so dreary
We are so young
It's just not fair
To feel this way
I do declare
We are so young
Why are we so down
We should be smiling and laughing
Instead of wearing a frown
We're forced to grow up
And left with an empty meaning
Our childhood is gone
And so is the meaning
We're forced to grow up
Thinking of knives so clean
And heavy rope nooses
And we're only thirteen
