Home Sweet Home!

I sigh as I get into my aunt's car; she's taking me home, we'd just left the mental home that I've grown to love sorta.
"Honey, if there is anything you wanna talk about please come tell me and Sam."
Here it goes the same 'we're here for you' gig.
I mean I love my aunt, but there's nothing that she can do.
"No thanks, I'm going to take a nap."
I said as I close my eyes, and I hear a sad sigh escape my aunt's lips.
"Alright dear, just remember I love you."
She said as a tear slipped from my eye.

Once we arrived home, I ran straight up to my room; but it looked different.
I had all brand new stuff and my windows were replaced with unbreakable glass.
Another sigh escaped, 'I should've known they'd do this'.
I plopped down on my new bed before drifting off to sleep.

My eyes flew open once I felt someone shake me, I immediately sat up to find my cousin; Sasha.
"Come on Britt it's time for dinner."
She said with a big grin plastered on her face.
She was one of my many cousins, and I mean MANY cousins.
"Fine."
I say while getting off my bed, as soon as I stood up I was engulfed in a hug.
"I'm so glad your back, we all are!"
She said while squeezing me to death.
I chuckled as I returned her hug.
"I'll try harder, k?"
Once she heard my words, she pulled away while smiling a sweet smile.
Then she grabbed my hand and led me down stairs, to the dinning room.
Once I sat down in a chair next to my other cousin Heather, a plate of spaghetti was placed in front of me.
"Thank you auntie."
I say while digging into the food.
"Um, Britt?"
I look up to see Heather.
"What?"
I ask as I wipe my face with a napkin.
"You're gonna be going to our school now! We can hang out even more!"
She said while smiling like an idiot.
"Really?"
I ask while looking over to my Uncle Sam, to see him give me a nod with a grin on his face.
I wasn't able to go to their school before, because of some stupid reason.
"That's great!"
I say while getting up to put my dish in the sink.
"Hell yeah it is!"
I hear a shout come from the dinning room, I chuckle as I hear auntie scolding probably Keisha another cousin; about language.
"I'm going back to bed!"
I shout while running up the stairs that lead to me and my cousin's bedrooms.
I went into mine and then crawled into bed.
"I love you."
I whisper before closing my eyes.
