It is I. Who am I you ask? I am the honorable and well respected Jean-Yves Duclos, but you can call me Jay. I know a grown man and a member of parliamentary cabinet shouldn't be coming up with childish nicknames, but I work with families and children. It is my job to sometimes be childish. Trudeau himself came up with it. I'm sorry, the Right Honorable Trudeau (and all his little friends too.) came up with it. My role as a parliamentarian is I am Minister of Families and Children and Social development. I live in a very stable government that many are calling a constitutional monarchy. This means we have a monarch who mainly represents us as a figurehead. She does however overlook the three branches we have as a constitutional monarchy. We have the legislature were Trudeau rests in his proud spot of prime minister. He is the proud resemblance of what we do here in Canada. What do we do? Mostly give dignified people undignified nicknames. Then we have legislature which overlooks the laws and helps guide the Prime Minister, like he would listen. He rest on the shoulders of all his little friends in the Judicial branch that have the right to send the criminals into the outhouse. I personally believe Trudeau should get sent to jail as well, but all the Judges are on his side. If only our amazing queen were in charge. Unfortunately, her power is reduced to that of the constitution as we are a constitutional monarchy. The Queen herself cannot make hardly any decisions at all. She is Queen Elizabeth II and you may know her as the Queen of England. She kind of has control over us here in Canada well. She doesn't mess us up. As a Constitutional Monarchy the queen is mostly a ceremonial leader. We are a Parliamentary Democracy which means that we are made only of legislature. Our head of state is not the same as our head of government. Also, since we are a democracy, our citizens help to vote on our leaders and help make decisions. This is controlled by our national and state governments. Trudeau helps with the process of voting. We are federal so our governments at the local and national levels get their say and have their own abilities. Our national government is in control of voting and our national protection. The smaller local governments deal with their own problems like education. The highest federal level is in control of taxes, social services, etc.  We are proud to say that being a federal government means that every authority has their own amount of power. Sure, it seems stable enough. Well, that is what I thought as well. Our citizens play their part by voting. They also create businesses to help our economy. It is strange to see how quickly a nation can go corrupt.
