Do You Remember?
Remember on that one November night,
The air was chilly and the street was bright.
As my arms got wrapped in your coat,
You whispered, "You're very beautiful," I quote.
Your beaming eyes looked at me as though we were about to kiss.
For a second I catch your smile through the foggy mist.
When you brushed a piece of hair out of my face,
I knew this love shouldn't go to waste.
I remember running hand in hand down the road,
The genuine happiness in me was overflowed.
Our chuckles blended in harmony, and you placed a kiss on my cheek.
I'd never forget it, although in time the memory would be obsolete.
"I love you," you say with true sincerity.
At that moment, I thought we were the only two in the city.
It felt as though nothing could go wrong.
It was perfect, and I felt like we belonged.
I still remember that night, and it often comes to mind.
However, it can only be a memory - we cannot rewind.
When I look back, I remember the fun times we had,
And to experience it again, I want it so bad.
