Cursed Night

beginning of revenge

Prologue: days of peace

In the days of old when the night was new and the day perfect , all creatures were living in peaceful bliss . the five groups that kept this peace were the humans, dragons, giants, spirits and negals all of these races boomed . the giants ruled plains and large stretches of land and made them prosperous , the dragons kept the sky's bright and the nights warm, the Spirits made the land around them shimmer with an unknown brilliance . the negal made the most beautiful art works , paintings and creations . but the humans could only copy one of the other races progress .

due to no supernatural abilities they looked for power from the dragons in exchange they could live side by side. The negals being of an unknown origin could not breed with others like them so they had to mate with another race to survive . the most popular race the negals admired were the spirits and in a century the two breeds were completely coexisting with each other

The giants tho under taught in the ways of magic and power were more than equal to the most famous of black smiths and could go from 10 feet to well over a hundred In height and the kings of all five of the major races of that time had a meeting in the human kings palace .

Almost ten years after this gathering of power a war still rages the humans and dragons are at odds, the spirits and negals are all but gone from the world and the giants have turned from peaceful beings to that of savages.

And all those who cry out in pain blame the terrible human king and his black dragon whose roar strikes fear into all but his master. This is where or story begins the woeful tale of three different men fighting the same fight .("to all readers you could leave if you like because if you stay you'll go thorough hell and back.")

Chapter 1 war on the horizons
Somewhere in 259

Almost a decade after the conference with the 5 kings in a large house in a deserted forest just outside a small town lived a boy and his father.

"Father !" Cried the young child barley hitting 14 years old . "where are you?" He said searching the ground floor of the house in a frantic search . "down here my boy ,what is it that's got you so awake this fine morning ?"

Running down the stairs into a cool basement door the boy was hit with a smell of grease ,fire and ash ."cough* cough* you said you would show me how to fight today." "Aah" he laughed with a hearty smile rising from the ash covered work bench . the figure erupting from the bench was a tall skinny man whose arms and hands were covered in grease and blisters. "Well then happy birthday Levi my beloved son"

The boy lit up with a smile of complete happiness at his father's decision. "Well im not going to teach you right now Levi just wait upstairs and practice yourself for awhile till i complete this project "
Levi had lost his smile for a frown hating that he was believing that his father would stop what he was doing to help him and going up the wooden stairs to the light he gave a loud sigh that seemed that he had not wanted that answer .

Walking past a large portrait of his mother and father he studied them with wondering eye's. His mother was dark and fit with hazel eye's that matched and a white gown that melted away at her smile . his father an Asian man with a scrawny build had plain black formal clothes on a handsomely young figure ready to start a new life .

as he marveled at the picture sadness came to his mind , it had been 10 years since his mother died ;a coldness crept in . Levi was told many times his mother had died in a fire but he knew this was untrue,even his father who knew what happened would not tell him. But the lie he knew haunted him every spare moment, he wanted to know

"ah"  he sighed . "i better practice myself before it gets too dark" he said as he walked out of the wooded doors and into a brisk afternoon.
Leather gear strapped from head to toe Levi held a sword 5 1/2 foot tall almost as tall as his head he went behind the house where a training course buried in dust and scratches lay waiting for the next session .
