Erin looked over at Asa. She was sweetly and innocently looking around at the world with an amazing curiosity. He loved traveling with her when she was in this mood just a bundle of joy and looking at everything through a new light. It helps things go by so much faster and all he had to do to keep her entertained was buy a few new things every once in awhile at villages so that she could look at them and figure them out ,she has special a love of puzzle boxes in this mood.

Erin was ripped out of his thought process by a blood curdling scream coming from up ahead. Ahead of them there was a single man trying to fend off 3 evil fiends, even with such unfair odds he looks like he's doing a decent job of defending himself, one of his attackers was clapping his hands over his face while blood spilled from his nose as the other was limping back ,but the screaming still had came from him as the third assailant had slashed him from the bottom of his left breast all the way to the top of his shoulder that was at least 2 inches deep the man stumbled backwards from the strength of the blow shoulder trying to close the wound with his bare hand but doing so unsuccessfully. The three assailants laughed gleefully at him trying to close his wound with his hand but their laughter stopped abruptly when they noticed the men's wound refused to bleed. Not even a drop of blood fell from the wound that's a gaping across his chest and shoulder. a shiver ran down Erin's spine he knew what this thing was. It was a bloodless, a face stealer, a Body Snatcher, it was one of the most vile creatures of this land ,a Skinwalker. Erin glanced over at Asa to see how she was. Asa has a particularly gruesome history with these creatures, she was held prisoner for years as they tried to get every emotion out of her just so they could study it to fulfill their own curiosity, but what emotion lay in her eyes was not anger or rage as he had expected to find but what he saw bright green light of curiosity inside her gorgeous large eyes. Calmly she just stepped outside of the carriage and walked towards the Bloodless at the same time she threw three stones with gentle flicks of her wrist towards the three assailants and as they left her pretty dainty little hands they grew more than seven times larger than they were in her hands and slammed the assailants to the ground more than likely killing them under the weight. Erin quickly did his best to grab his weapons and hurry after her as he caught up she just gently whispered "he's not one of them" and smiled at him and giving him that look that she always does when he brings her new presents for her to figure out.

I looked down at the wound that lay gaping open on my left side and tried desperately to hold it closed with my right hand and get my small blade into guard position with my left hand. Which if you didn't know, is a very hard task to accomplish when your pectoral muscle lay split in half and barely attached to your body. I turned to face my attackers and start to lunge toward them planning to fake a lunge at the right and turn into a slash to the one at the left all the while tossing the vile in my hand at the one in the middle. This is not what happend. As I start to shift my balance three boulders the size of my chest come flying out of nowhere and just plow straight through the three attackers slamming them against the ground with sickening crunches where they lay un-moving and silent. My head swivels to the right looking for the source of the onslaught. My eyes immediately lock on to the pair moving at almost a leisurely pace towards me. The pair is made up of a man, whom is about 6 foot 7 and shoulders broad enough that his armor would have to have been custom made for his time in the army from which he bore the trademark scars, and a tiny little thing of a young woman or teenage girl, she had the curves that went with being fairly endowed but dressed in a manner that accented them as well as was practical. The stones presumably came from him because she didn't seem to have the trademark ripped body that most stone and earth adepts came with, but what she did have that caught my eye where extremely bright and vibrant green eyes. they continued to walk until they were about 10 feet away where they stopped, the man ,whom now that he was closer i could see that he was barely that only maybe 21 or 22 at the oldest, staring at the girl , whom could only be around 18 if that, and in turn she was staring straight at me.

"Much appreciated for the help." I said trying to get a line of communication coming while at the same time shifting my cloak over my left shoulder hiding the wound and putting my crossbow within easy reach of my left hand.

She just smiled at me and started walking forward and about half a beat after she stepped forward the soldier cut across her back towards my right side. I lifted my crossbow and jumped back aiming for the soldier and fired, or at least tried to. As i jumped back she left forward with more speed that could have been possible and as I raised my crossbow she simply ran her right hand across it and the entire thing nearly quadrupled its size effectively ripping it from my grip as the handle became too large to hold and that she snatched it out of the air with her left hand and it rapidly shrinking back to its original state as she ran her right hand over the neck of my cloak and I felt its weight grow exponentially and it successfully slamming my rear end to the ground. I was only dazed for a second or two but it was more than enough for the soldier to draw his broadsword and have it resting against my neck. I examined the sword that lay rested against my neck. You can tell a lot about a man, or woman for the matter, about how they take care of their blade. The soldiers had seen a lot of combat, a lot of combat, there were hundreds of nicks in the blade on both sides each one had been ground down with a sharpening stone to almost nonexistence and only a trained eye or enhanced eye would've ever seen them. The blade was also very well polished and had an even polish which is not something easy to keep with a blade that's in constant combat, on top of that there was the leather bindings that wrapped the length of the handle, they were soft sheep's leather with a malleable iron alloy of some type braided in as wire making for a grip that had been molded to his grip sacrificing a little force because the handle would give a little more to the hand than most set ups but it also provided much better care for one's hands. All of that add up to a intelligent career soldier on his way to a respectful title and officers position, which completely contradicted the fact he was in the middle of the southeastern plans with no legion issued gear and the closest branch of the military being the shield arm several dozen miles ,in the opposite direction of which they were going, for here patrolling in the goblin territory.

" Good morning folks" I said as I said as I slowly slid my hand under my cloak down my thigh towards the leather pouch I have strapped there.

She just smiled and leaned forward and ran her hand down the length of my cloak toward it shrank to the point of being much to small. The three problems with this would be:

Number one-It revealed my bloodless wound.

Number two - it revealed my hand going for the leather pouch.

And last and most importantly

Number Three- It was so tight on my neck I was suffocating and everything was starting to go black.

And then with a very hefty slam from the soldier to the face as i continued to scrap at the pouch everything finished going black.
