MY ANCHOR HOLDS TRUE

When will it end,

The feeling of pain and regret.

When will the wind embrace me,

When will it blow me off the edge.

But even as it tries my feet are roots,

I am rooted to this cliff the unending fall,

Even if the ground beneath me breaks I cannot fall.

Woe is me why must my anchor be so strong

Let me fall let me go

These days have worn my soul to almost nothing

But I must persevere

But I wish I could fall endless eternal a sleep never waking

Peace would envelope me and I will be free of pain and suffering

So my anchor holds true keeping me here.
