Me and my best friend Tymere were in the middle of eating at Burger King when the explosion happened. All we heard was a huge explosion then we hear the sirens of police and ambulance flying down the road. We run out to see what happened and a huge cloud full of atomic waste and gas hit us we took off running and looking for our friends. We stole a truck bc now the city is under lockdown and a riot even started I look around to make sure no one else was in there. In the back seat there was a .50Cal rifle sitting in the seat loaded.
"Should we take it with us?" Tymere asked me with a frightened face
"I-i-i I guess do I mean we need it for our protection it's like war out here and we don't know what to do"
We took the rifle and drove off driving down our friends Street looking for them we saw no sign of life there. We kept driving thru they neighborhood when the truck broke down with no gas or energy.
"Oh my gosh are you serious right now?" I said with anger
"How we gonna find them now fam?" Tymere asked
"Lemme think I'll find a way... I always do.."
We hop out of the truck we go and search the houses to see if anyone was there and we found nothing.
Then all the sudden we hear someone screaming
"HELP CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!?"
Me and Tymere start sprinting over to where we hear the scream and we noticed that the person's leg was bleeding from when the light pole fell on him from the explosion.. Quickly me and Tymere grab the pole and push it off of him.
"Wow he is bleeding really bad.. Tymere go grab the wrap from the truck and hurry"
While Tymere is grabbing the wrap and unwrapping it getting ready to wrap it around the guys leg I'm putting pressure on the stranger's leg to stop it from bleeding. Tymere quickly wraps the towel wrap around his leg tightly so the bleeding stops.
"Thank you guys.. Thanks a lot"
"No problem.. Hey do u have a phone on you?" Tymere asked
"Yeah I do actually here"
We call our friends and asked where they were,they said they where at the mall trapped in one of the stores
"Guys what store are you in?"
"RUE 21 AND PLEASE HURRY" said everyone
Me and Tymere grab the rifle and found a Jeep and drove as fast as we can to mall. When we arrived there were ALOT of people wanting.... joggers?...
I see nick behind the bars of the store I open it up and grab every one else out the back door and we get in the Jeep and drive to my house.
"Does anyone know what the heck is going on?!" Asked nick
"All we know is that there was a atomic explosion to the north east side of Hollywood" I told nick
"What do you mean 'atomic explosion'? Like nuclear or something?" Asked nick in question
"Hold on shut up the radio on"
As the radio is turned up the news is saying a radiation asteroid has struck North East of Hollywood. They said at least 100-150 people died in the past hour and others has become infected.
"Hold up hold up hold up... What do they mean by infected?" Asked Tymere
"Holy crap I don't even know...!" Replied nick
"Does she mean like....zombies?" I said with a flipped out attitude
"Guys we need to get out of here..." Said Tymere with fright
