It was a normal day in hell for Lucifer. The screams of tortured souls rang through the halls as he walked around his throne forged from a combination of rubies, onyx, and jet. He rolled his eyes bored with the normal routine, the sounds of hell had become to well known to his ears and no longer chimed like they used to. No, he wanted to harvest souls and run amuck in the human realm, he wanted to feel the souls draining from their worthless bodies as he watched in smug triumph. "Thinking again sir?" His second in command asked lazily laying in his chair, legs thrown over the left arm and mercilessly eating through a whole roast on his own. "I suppose you could say that. Im yearning for.. adventure, Stephan." "Adventure sir? One would think that being the keeper of Hell youd have no problem with adventures." Lucifer turned his head to glare at Stephan, his horns spouting from his Dark brown hair as his gold eyes flashed. "Making assumptions? Im highly dissapointed in you." He said standing up, black silk robe flowing behind him as he walked around. "N-No sir! That was never my intentions sir! Do you have a plan sir as to how to gain some adventure?" He asked standing up and adjusting his jacket as he watched his friend pace. He gently messed with his white blonde hair, "Maybe you should go do some harvesting..I'll stay behind and keeps things okay here." He suggested. Lucifer sighed and scratched the back of his head before looking at him. "I'll be checking in... as should you." "Always sir." Stephan bowed a bit before standing straight and smiling. "Now, time to get busy gathering my clientele." Lucifers voice trailed off as he looked over his kingdom of darkness.

Kaine (Kai-Ney) McKinnin walked quietly down the busy sidewalks of her hometown, Lone Wolf, it wasnt the smallest town but it definitely wasnt the biggest. But still, even though she had grown up in this town she knew absolutely no one, and now had no friends or family since her mother had passed away the previous year in her sleep, well.. she had her father.. but that was a different story. Kaines opal hair swung around her face and shoulders. Her saphire eyes glistened a bit behind her black framed glasses that she scooted up the bridge of her pale, freckled nose. Her rainbow yarn scarf slightly blew in the wind. She sighed as she stopped infront of the bookstore and walked in. She quietly looked around the all too familiar shelves. Shed been here plenty of times, seeing how she worked and spent most of her time here organizing and memorizing where each book belonged. As she stepped into the back a small flicker of light came from the corner of her eye and she stopped, turning ever so slightly to see a black leather book sitting on the shelf. "Huh?" She said grabbing it and looking around. This book hadnt been there a second ago.. had it? Her eyes drew over the words on the cover of the book. "Incantations and Summonings, a guide into the world of witchcraft..." She whispered to herself before taking the book in hand and taking it home. She was amazed at herself for actually doing such a thing.. But she knew that book didnt belong there..
