Ryan's pov

I was sitting on my bed when my beta, John, mindlinked me 'Alpha there are rogues at the northeast broader of our territory,' I growled at that and mindlinked him back 'I'm on the way just go and help the pack fight off the rogues for now.' I got up off my bed and shifted into my wolf and to off running towards the northeast broader. My wolf Jace, tried to take over but I didn't let him. I pushed myself to go faster while the trees and branches blew passed me.

When I caught the scent of rogue I jumped throw the trees and landed in front of the rogues and growled loudly then me and my pack attacked the rogues. After the rogues where dead, I decided to run around the broader of my territory. I was running around the broader until the most mouthwatering scent of strawberries and vanilla hit me and I stopped and looked around to try and find out where that scent was coming from.

I followed the scent to a clearing close to a pond and then I saw her, she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She had light brown hair and ocean blue eyes. I slowly walk up to her and stop only 6 feet away from her. She looks up at me and grasps and the grasp is followed by a scream. I back away slowly and goes behind a tree and shift back and puts on some clothes.

I walk out of behind the tree and walk slowly back up to the girl and I sat in front of her."Hello little one, I'm Ryan." She looks at me and says "Hi Ryan, I'm Lexi." When I heard her voice my wolf howled inside my head. I scanned her body and saw that her right leg was injured, "Lexi what happened to your leg."

Lexi's pov

"Lexi what happened to your leg," Ryan asked me and I looked at him and shook my head at him.

"Lexi please tell me what happened," Ryan asked again.

"Ok well, I was at my friend's house when some rogues attacked my pack," looks down at the grass.

Ryan puts his arm around me and I feel electric shocks go throw my body and leans into him and he chuckles. Ryan gets up and picks me up with him and walks with me in his arms. "Where are u taking me," I look at him confused. Ryan looks down at me "I'm taking u to the pack doctor to check out your leg," I just nod and for some reason I almost fell asleep in Ryan's arms. After a while I did fall asleep in his arms. Being in his arms I felt safe and warm but I have no clue why.
