Louis’s Pov—
I woke up to Molls crying,
“baby whats the matter” I asked wiping the tears from her cheek
“I ddont know Lou, its those pains again, bu- but I’Im struggling breathe” Molly stumbled
“im taking you to the hospital” I said getting up
“what about Kyla” molly asked through breaths
“I’ll call Niall, he’s closest” I replied grabbing my phone and instantly calling Niall
“mello” he said sleeply down the phone
“niall please do me a favour and come keep an eye on Kyla Rose, Molly’s got those pains again but she’s struggling to breathe so im taking her to the hospital but I don’t want to wake Kyla up and take her” I said quickly
“don’t worry, im on my way, be there in 5” Niall said as I heard him panting around his house as we hung up
“Niall will be here in 5 then we’ll go, do you want to change first” I asked Molls
“I’ll just change into some leggings” she said before getting up, I helped her as there was a knock on the door, once she was ready I grabbed my hoodie and phone before we headed downstairs
“you’re a lifesaver Niall, she’s asleep in her room but I cant leave her, help yourself to food and drink, you know where everything is, spare rooms free aswell” Louis said
“I’ll be fine, Kyla Rose will be fine its Molly we need to be alright, now get going, don’t worry, she’s safe, let me know how it goes” Niall said
“will do” I said before getting Molly in the car before pulling into the driver seat and driving off to the hospital.
When we arrived they took Molly away straight away for tests leaving me in the office… god I was nervous as hell knowing that Molly had been through lots of tests as a child for the heart disease that killed her mother… the only thing on my mind was that’s whats wrong with Molly, I cant lose her, Kyla Rose cant lose her.
I must of sat there for nearly 3 hours before Doctor Fransco came back in
“we’ve run the test we need to, we need to wait for the results to come through before we decide if a MRI scan is needed Miss Callgen is now in a bed as we would like to monitor her for a few hours and go from there if that is ok, she is on morphine but the pains are going again now, we are being more careful with past family health problems ” The Doctor said
“can I see her” I asked
“of course, I’ll show you to her room” the doctor said as I got up and we headed down the corridor to a room. He let me in and there she was lying in the covers of the hospital bed, my hoodie on the chair next to her, she looked so tired
“how you feeling baby” I asked her sitting on the edge of the bed taking her hand
“complete and uter shit” she spoke
“baby, get some sleep we’re just going to have to wait” I sighed
“I love you” molly whispered before closing her eyes
“I love you more” I whispered kissing her forehead softly.
Early next morning we we’re able to leave, they were worried it was to do with Molly’s heart but we had to wait for the new results.
We arrived home and went in, Niall was sitting in the lounge watching TV eating some food
“we’re back” I smiled seeing him laughing at catch up TV
“hiya mate, how did it go” Niall asked getting up
“lots of tests, they think its to do with Molly’s heart so we need to wait on the final results I sighed
“it will be alright mate, we’re all here for you, anytime you need Kyla being looked after I’ll be here yeah” Niall said putting his arm around me
“thanks Niall.. hows baby” I asked
“hasn’t woken up yet, so much like you with your sleep” Niall laughed making me laugh
“Niall, what if she doesn’t make it through” I said and went instantly quiet
“do you wanna go somewhere else and talk” he asked me
“yeah, I’ll just go check on her, one sec” I said running upstairs, she wasn’t in our room so I checked Kyla’s and spotted her fast asleep in the rocking chair, I quietly went over and kissed her forehead, and headed back downstairs
“she’s asleep in Kyla’s Room, I’ll leave a note” I said finding some paper and a pen
‘baby girls, I’ve gone to the café with Niall for a coffee, love you both millions, will be back soon xx’
I left the note before getting my keys and phone and heading out in Nialls car to the local café.
We found a table out of the way
“what do you mean what If she doesn’t make it Lou” Niall asked sipping his coffee
“it will turn out like her mum I know it, Niall she was the one, she is the one, the one im supposed to spend my life with, give my heart to, see her walk down the isle, it will never happen, Kyla Rose, cant live without Molly, Molly said she never wanted to do that to her kids” I started crying as Niall placed his hand on mine
“Molly is not going to die, the results are not back Kyla will not grow up without her mother, Molly is far to strong, Louis I can promise you one thing and one thing only.. You will marry Molly, that is for sure, we all knew from the start she was the one you we’re going to be with and you will I promise you that” Niall said firmly.
