I stalk towards her slowly, my axe swinging at my side and brushing the ends of my once white dress, fraying them further. A dreamy smile is displayed on my face as I hum to myself, strolling closer and closer to the hunched, armless girl. Well, she looked like a girl once. As I get closer, I can hear her mumbling something between increments of vomiting the blood forcing itself up her throat. Oh! she's praying! How cute. It's kinda funny really, that the demon's praying to god. Well, that's what you get, you know, when you try to take away my beloved. That would never happen. He's mine.
"Ring around the rosy," I start to sing the words, and swung the axe forward, cutting lightly into her leg with a quick slash. She begins to scream as I continue to sing, swinging my axe.
"A pocketful of posies," I swing the axe down again. Ooh, there goes the foot. My smile broadens as the glistening, crimson blood pours out of her leg. Her screaming gets louder and louder, filling the dark building with her hellish screeches. Tears leak out of her bloodshot eyes, creating clean paths down her blood splattered cheeks.
"Ashes, Ashes," I swing it down, cutting a different spot every time, each stroke just shy of the bone, exposing the matter underneath. Slowly cutting higher and higher. Oh! I'll make a game out of it, swing as much as possible without breaking the bone. I continue swinging the axe about the rib cage. This is easy, I'm doing gre-
"CRACK!" the sound of the bone splintering reaches my ears, echoing throughout the barren area. The sounds can't match the volume of the screeches escaping her cracked lips. 'Dang, and I was doing so well...' I start to slow my swings and her once banshee-like screams turn into pained wheezing.
"We all fall down," As I sing the final line of the nursery rhyme, I raise it above my head one final time. I force it down, crushing what's left of her dismembered torso, and watching the last specks of life drain from her eyes.
I giggle, looking down at her corpse.
"Now you know not to mess with something that's not yours, don't you?" I question, with a playfully scolding expression.
"Good! I'm glad we understand each other!" I give a smile with closed eyes as the corpse stares back at me, eyes glazed over. The same eyes that she stared at my Yuki with, that little slut. I open my eyes, giving her a final glance. Her now lifeless body has my axe embedded in her stomach, reaching through her torso until it had broken her spine. It was missing both its arms with bloody stumps in their place. She touched Yuki with those arms, draping them around him, saying they were 'friends'. Yeah. Right. I know you were just trying to take him away from me, those arms had to go. HE IS MINE, AND MINE ALONE. The only full extremity left was the right leg, though the left was mostly intact. Well, except for the foot somewhat separated from the body, which was only connected by a thin string of flesh and the pool of drying blood that once flowed between. Running all along the corpse there were deep cuts, some deep enough to see through to the bone and organs underneath. One of the deepest showing her still heart. Frankly, I'm surprised she had one. Covered in bruises and other injuries from our earlier fun, the only remains if her clothes are tattered. Although, a thick layer of blood painted almost her entire body, in a lovely way for such a vile creature. I smile down at her once more before I start hearing a voice speak my name distantly. I found my world blurring around me.
"....no."
" ...uno."
"Yuno!" I blink, startled from my reverie as I take in my surroundings once again. Back in the same old classroom, with teens chattering in small groups about insignificant things and laughing amongst themselves. To my left I briefly focus on a small group, a few friends laughing together. My gaze was mostly on a pair, a boy who had a carefree smile and a girl with an equal grin, her arms casually draping around his neck. My straying vision turns back to the concerned face of the girl in front of me.
"Are you alright there? You looked like you were gone for a minute." She looks at me, patiently waiting for me to answer. Her name is Emily, my best friend.
"Oh yeah, sorry, I was just thinking about my plans for later,"...
