Today was absolutely perfect. Absolutely.
It was our one year Anniversary since we first dated, Adam somehow managed to excuse himself from his busy work and took me on a casual trip to the mall, bought a few things here and there on the way.
Bought me a little silver charm bracelet a little later in the day, it had 'Tay' craved on one side of it, he told me that he had his, which had a carved in 'Vin' instead.
Sky became dark, not a single star in the sky. He took me off to a rather romantic-and not to mention extremely expensive dinner, where he reserved a private table for just the two of us underneath the dazzling stars.
And thats when things went straight down the toilet.
On our walk home, Adam with his formal tux, and me with an awfully expensive designer dress, which also included all the accessories that went with it. Adam was nice enough to buy me my night's outfit that probably costed him millions of dollars on.
That idiot didn't know limitations sometimes.
All I had to say, is that our walk was cut short, and now we were in a hotel room. Rain dropped trickled down the glass window as I stared gloomily out the cold rainy night.
"Babe, you okay?" Adam asks me and shifted the bed as he sat down.
"I'm fine, just disappointed by the rain, they just have to come in the worst possible time, huh?" I chuckled and averted my attention to my loving boyfriend. Sitting on his lap, I nuzzled my hair on his neck affectionately.
"Aw, don't be. We'll continue where we left off tomorrow, I promise," he reassured, nuzzling back.
"But then we won't even feel the same as we did tonight," I pouted childishly, similar to a five year old girl whose mother just forbid to get ice cream.
"We would, I'll make sure of that," he chuckled and kissed the bridge of my nose sweetly.
We stayed in a weird fussy entanglement with each other for a while, enjoying how each other us managed to feel warmth and love radiating from one another.
We didn't speak-not a single word came out of out mouths after that. No, I wasn't mad at the rain anymore, it's just these special moments that come by. They somehow make things better, not exactly better, but it allowed me to forget about problems, at least for just awhile.
"Babe, can I ask you something?" Adam sighed under his breath, rubbing small circles on my waist.
I hummed in response, shaking my head yes with approval.
"You do want children someday, right?" He asks me out of the blue with a strong feeling of curiosity. I stared at his eyes, trying to get a hint of what he wanted to lead this conversation into.
"Well, yea. Of course," I smiled, "I've always wanted to settle down-after I'm done with all my career of course. I've always just thought of myself as a mom, ya know? With a house with little kids running here and there, thats my dream." I told him, pecking his cheek and snuggling closer to him.
I could practically feel him smirk in pure happiness and he embraced me tighter. He knew I wanted to do it all with him. And I wasn't even lying about being a mother.
"Ya know babe, we could make kids now if you want..." He murmured, capturing my lips on a lip lock. I kissed him back, pulling away once air was needed.
"You're gross," I giggled and slapped his chest playfully, "And that's why I love you."
"You know it," He flirtatiously winked at me, not forgetting to add an infamous looking smirk to complete the devious look.
