I plopped onto my bed, sighing slightly. Yuka had ran into hers, and I kinda didn't want to disturb her after everything that had happened.
I... Lost four friends today.
I lost them to a place known as Heavenly Host. I didn't know how I would be able to get over what had happened there.
I already felt myself beginning to lose conciousness. Was I really this tired?
Soon enough, I drifted off into a black void called sleep.
--------------------------------------------
My head pounded. My eyes slowly fluttered open, as a bad feeling slipped into my gut. I slowly got up, taking a look at my surroundings. It was took dark at first, but once my sight started to realign, my eyes widened.
This was... Heavenly Host, wasn't it?!
Terror began to fill me. Why was I back here? I... I had just escaped, hadn't I?! Soon enough, a giggle came from someone behind me. I turned, only to see Yuki standing there in a red dress.
"Onii-chan..." She smirked, "welcome back to Heavenly Host... I can finally meet you properly."
I saw a slight glimmer, and realized she was holding scissors.
She quickly attempted to stab me, but I moved out of the way. I began to scramble towards the door, and all she did was laugh. My breathing quickened, and I opened the door before shutting it quickly. I knew that wouldn't do much, but it should have been enough to buy time for me to get away. I ran as fast as I could, not bothering to stop, even as I gasped for air.
Soon enough, once I felt I was far away, I stopped, and put my hands on my knees, panting. I felt like puking, but that wouldn't do any good. Not here.
Now, onto more important matters-- just why am I here? I had just fallen asleep, and I woke up here. Was this a dream?
I attempted to do something to wake me up, from pinching to slapping, but nothing happened.
"Oh, god," I muttered out loud, "this is real, isn't it...?"
No matter how much I hoped this was a dream, there was no escaping it. This is reality. I'm back in Heavenly Host, by myself... No friends to help me, and no way to get back home.
"No," I stopped myself, shaking my head, "I shouldn't think like that. I have to get home. To Yuka, to Naomi..."
Naomi. She had been the most traumatized from the incident. Her best friend had died right in front of her eyes. I have been trying to console her the best I could since we got back, but it never really worked much. I want to make her happy again.
I imagined her smile.
I want to see it, if not just one more time.
I raised myself back up, and began to wonder these cursed halls yet again.
--------------------------------------------
Yuka's door swung open, a giggle escaping her mouth. "Onii-chan! It's time to--"
She had been expecting her brother to be in bed, but he wasn't. Seeing as she had a traumatic experience the day before, panic set in.
"Onii-chan?! Onii-chan!"
She began to look through almost ever room in the house, but he wasn't anywhere.
"Yuka?" Mrs. Mochida asked, tilting her head, "Is something wrong?"
