It's time I thought to myself , it is time to get ready for the 95th annual hunger games reaping. If my younger sister Baylee gets reaped I will volunteer as the female tribute, and if my younger brother jack is reaped my older brother Justin will volunteer as the male tribute. We would do anything to save our family from the game makers. The Game Makers would put Baylee and Jack in the arena as if they were live bate for the other tributes. Not only would they try to kill them because they are both 8 year old twins, but because of our last name. The Mellark's. My mom katniss started the rebellion and they would do anything to have her and our family destroyed.

That is why Justin and I have go in to the games if our siblings are picked for the games. To bring victory to our family name.
With my archery skills winning will come easy and as for Justin with his sword the games won't be a problem. " Hannah I put your dress on your bed ok sweetie" yelled my mom from the kitchen. "Ok mom thanks" I replied. As I went into the bathroom to scrub every piece of mud off my body knowing that the people working in the capital would do it for me before the parade I thought about what I would do in the games and how I would survive in the arena if by a unlikely chance that Justin was killed, which he would never let anyone touch me without my permission of course, and if they did they would not see the next sunrise if he had any say in it. As I put on my dress I carefully put my hair in a crown of braids with nothing but a few hair pins.

As I go down stairs seeing Baylee all dressed up in the same outfit my aunt Prim wore the day she was reaped , and seeing Jack in his little suit and Justin in the same outfit my dad wore on the day of his reaping brought a few tears to my eyes ,but no mater how hard I tried to keep them back a few escaped my eyes as I thought what life would be like without them. And because the odds are always against us one of us will be reaped
And that is why I will do as my mother did in the 76th hunger games, shoot the force field and save mine and Justin's life so that we can the Hunger Games for good.
