"Dylan I see land" Jayden calls from above deck. We have been sailing for 17 days and were are almost out of food. All that's left are 9 cans of corn. I race up to the deck to see if it was true. It was. We dock and get of the ship.
We only grab the essentials and we leave everything else with the boat. I bring my axe and a small handgun I found on the boat and stuffed the corn into my backpack. Jayden grabbed his pistol and Jordan's baseball bat and filled his backpack with ammo for his gun and my gun.
We begin walking to find somewhere to stay. We come across an apartment building we walk inside and barricade the doors we look for. Stairs but we only find a broken elevator. We walk over to the couches and sleep until morning.
