"Hatsu! It's your time of season isn't it?" I heard the familiar voice of Honoka ring through my ears.
I grimaced, "You saw the light didn't you. Sorry, I don't know how to control it like you can Chiyoko!" I apologized.
"O-Oh, we-well your getting there. Just like my mom always said, 'If you believe hard enough and practice 10 times harder, you will get your goal.' Also, I'm pretty sure everyone saw the light Hat-chan." a voice squeaked nervously into her headset. I chuckled at her nervousness, she always did know how to make people smile.
"Hatsu, all of you are tied right now. Theres one more trion soldier near a Border Branch called Tamakoma. Honoka, you are on the other side of town right now. You kinda wandered off a bit. Well a lot. So this round goes to Hatsu or Chiyoko, sending the location!" Sumiye announced while trying to comfort a sad Honoka.
"Come on oh-great-elder, lets see who can win!" I pictured a smirking 14 year old leaping to somewhere near the Tamakoma Branch.
"Please child, I'm going to wipe the floor with you!" I smirked sprinting to the Tamakoma Branch determined to win. "Hey Sumiye, wouldn't someone from Border be there already?" I asked breathing heavily. I was farther away from the location than Chiyoko, but I was determined to beat her.
"Well thanks to Yoko's great side effect, my computer shows me in advanced where a soldier is coming. So it should show up by the time you are there. Thank you Chiyoko for the advanced computer." the familiar sound of tapping was in the background, Sumiye was probably writing in her journal that I'm not supposed to know about.
The wind was making my hair flow everywhere, my blades slightly being pushed back. I heard the soft sound of a piano fill my ears as I edged nearer to a home. The melody captivating, and the story behind it filled with energy. The music urged me to move farther, and I saw the source, it was a young boy playing the piano.
That brought many memories of my brother and I, how he and I would play twinkle twinkle little star, and how he would always mess up. I missed those days, I missed when everything was simple. Then again I wouldn't have met my best friends if things were simple.
Chika's POV
"Jin-san why are you smirking? Did your side effect tell you that this was going to happen?" Konami-senpai asked in her trion form.
I recapped whats happened so far, and I couldn't help but feel more confused. A whole lot of trion soldiers went through the gates, and all of them are all dead. No Border Agents has defeated a trion soldier, so does this mean that its someone with illegal triggers? The wounds all look highly advanced, stronger than Border's Triggers, or maybe its just the attackers that are strong.
"No, and thats why I'm smirking!" Jin-san said staring off into the distant waters. "Although I do feel like something is coming. Maybe its the mysterious attackers."
Tamakoma Branch was on guard, ready to attack the mysterious attackers if they decided to turn against us. I held my sniper close to my face, the wind shaking my hair around. 'Will I be able yo shoot them when it comes to it? Or will I freeze?" My hands were trembling, wondering what will happen next.
"Guys! I see two figures! They're heading straight for us. Get ready!" I heard Osamu-kun yell running to us from the city.
I noticed that one was an average height girl with black vibrant hair with green eyes. She had a kogetsu in her hand, what made it her stand out was that her weapon was pure white. She reminded me of someone, maybe thats why I didn't shoot at that moment.
