Adam, my foster brother, was sleeping quietly as I glanced swiftly to the door. We shared a room but it didn't really bother us as many thought it would. I was stuck in a thought when I heard the water running in the bathroom next to my room. As I walked slowly to see who it could be the familiar smell of leather drifted through the air. No, it couldn't be him.
Suspicious, I creaked the door open to see if it was really him. As I opened the door I couldn't believe my eyes. Lachlan. I tried to stay quite because everyone was asleep but I couldn't keep it in anymore. "Lachlan, what the heck are you doing here?" I loudly whispered in his ear. "Hey, chill, you don't want to wake up mommy 1 and mommy 2." "It's just surprising to see my twin 2 years after he disappeared you idiot, where were you anyways?" I said back to him. " You'll understand one day", he whispered. And with that he walked into the living room. Not wanting to wake up mommy 1 and mommy 2, I decided to go back to bed.
As I walked into my shared room I noticed Adam was now wide awake. " What's wrong?" He tiredly said. Calmly I said, " Lachlan is back." And without another word I laid down and drifted to sleep. I couldn't get rid of the thought in the back of mind. Where did Lachlan go? And why? What had he been doing for 2 years.
