I didn't do a lot of research on this story because I've known it my entire life. Me and a friend of mine would tell each other creepy stories to see who would wimp out first. I never did until he told me this one...

There once was a little girl of the age 6. Her name was Joanna. She wanted to go play with her friend because it was a bright sunny Saturday.

"Okay, but be back before 6:00." Her mom said.

"Okay!" She replied.

She left at 3 o'clock. At 5:59 she decided she wanted to go home.

"No don't. You should probably stay with us for the night. We'll let your mom know." Her friend and her friends mom said.

"No I'm going home." She said before leaving the house.

It should've been so simple. Her house was right across the street. She started walking over to her house and heard what sounded like a distorted man's voice saying, "Tick-tock, tick-tock," over and over again. She started walking a little faster and so did the voice. By the time she got to her door she was running. She tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Let me in mom, let me in!" She yelled at the door.

No matter how much she yelled the mom would not open the door, because she knew that the Tick-Tock man could change his voice to match others to sneak into houses. Suddenly the yelling stopped. The next morning the mom went outside and found a note on top of a pile of ashes written in blood. She cried when she read what it said.

Why didn't you let her in? It said.
