"Would you like anything to drink miss?" A young flight attendant with a bleached white smile asks Isadora. She shakes her head no before turning back to stare out at the sky outside. A strange ray of colors illuminate the sky as the sun sets over the ocean. The water sparkles as the last rays of sunlight flit across it and to anyone watching Isadora's eyes would appear a reflection of the sea.

Only seven more hours and the plane will land in Scotland, a far cry from Kenya where Isadora had told her friends she would be at. It was essential that she didn't tell them where she was really going. The last thing she needed was one of her friends, or even worse Cody himself trying to follow her so they could convince her to return with them. Humans may not have been described as the brightest of creatures, believing themselves as the only entity to exist on their precious Earth, but what they didn't know they made up for in persistance and heart. Even if they tried to find her by the time they realized she wasn't actually in Kenya it would be to late, and the records of her trip would be mere ashes. They would make sure of that.

Unsettled by the thought of never seeing her old friends again she settles into her seat curling her legs up by her chest protectively  If she grasps them close enough she might be able to hold in her world, where everything fell apart years ago. After the incident everyone drifted apart, and some people went so far as to send her to the opposite corners of the world so they could use her absence to their advantage. Its not like she could refuse, not without giving up everything that she'd worked so hard for during the last few years.

"Are you alright my deary? You look a little upset." a elderly woman with a slight scottish accent comments from the seat next to her. Her curly hair bounces as the plane bumps a little and she looks as if she'll fall apart at any moment.

"I'm alright, just a little nervous to be traveling alone," she lies dragging her focus away from the window. The older woman glances at her sympathetically and pats her knee gently. "So are you headed back home?" Isadora asks eager to direct the attention away from herself.

The elderly lady, or Agnes as she would later introduce herself launched into a story about her childhood and how at a yound age she had taken off from home eager to make her own mark on the world. Her cheeks blosom red as she describes the brilliant young men she'd encountered when her plane landed. It was only now that he'd passed away that she'd decided to make the journey back to her birthplace to spend her final years.

"That's a wonderful story," Isadora comments marveling about how similar it is to her own. Strange how two so similar can make such different choices. The corner of her mouth leans downward as she returns to staring out at the sea. Am I making the right choice? She wonders to herself. The sea glistens twinkling brightly and the little strings attached to her heart tug her towards it. Suddenly, her skin feels to confining the air suffocating yet light as if she might float away at any moment. That's where she belongs, not soaring up in the skys but down below and as her heart hammers within her ribcage excited by the notion of being so close to home yet so far away. Her mothers voice echos delicatly in the back of her mind replaying a poem she used to tell her brother and her.

The air holds nothing, it tells lies.

The sea will sing you lullabies,

now drift softly off to sleep,

for your heart has always been the seas to keep.
