Chapter 1

Gabriel found himself on a dusty floor. He looked around and thought it was a dungeon. But he didn't do anything wrong. Then a bucket of water appeared out of nowhere. He walked to the bucket and looked into it. He screamed in fear. He looked like an ugly, old, lumpy thing. He dropped the bucket and ran into the darkest corner. Was he in a dungeon because he looked ugly. Then arms grabbed him. In a heartbeat Gabriel woke up. He was sweating from his nightmare. He ran to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He still had his chocolate brown hair, his peach skin, and his hazel eyes. He was still handsome.
"What a nightmare," Gabriel said.
He walked back to his room and sat on his bed. He looked at the clock,3:02 a.m. Then he looked at his phone. He grabbed it and started texting his friend, Marc. Gabriel waited for half an hour for Marc to respond back, so then he called him.
"Hello," said a sleepy voice.
"Marc I had a similar dream like-"
"Gabriel can't we talk about this on the morning at school," Marc said.
"No. Marc, hands grabbed me when I moved to a dark corner," Gabriel said.
"Why did you move to a dark corner?"
"I... I was... ugly," Gabriel whispered.
"Oh many hat must have been hard for you," Marc said in a baby voice.
"Marc!"
"Okay fine I'll write it down and I'll put it on the board," Marc said," Gabriel you've been having these dreams more often now."
"How often?"
"Hmmm. You're having them three times each week. Soon you'll have them everyday."
"Great."
"I know, right."
"What about you? Have you been having any strange dreams?"
"If you mean by strange like riding a unicorn over a rainbow. Then yes I had a strange dream. For once."
"Was it about you riding a unicorn over a rainbow."
"Don't tell anyone about it."
"Okay I won't."
"Hey you mind if we can FaceTime because now I can't go to sleep."
"Sure. Give me a second."
Gabriel got up from bed and switched on the light and sat back down on his bed. He hung up the phone with Marc and went to FaceTime. Soon he saw Marc's blonde hair, peach skin, and blue eyes. They both continued chatting and laughing. Then they both heard the tweeting birds outside. Gabriel looked at his clock, 6:00 a.m.
"Okay man see you at school," Gabriel said.
"Okay bye," Marc said.
Gabriel ended his FaceTime and got dressed to go to school.
When he finished changing he went to the bathroom to do his hair. He couldn't decide what to do with his hair, so he let it flow down onto his face. He got water in his hands and splashed it on his face. He got a towel and wiped his face off. He looked at the mirror and saw a lady's face. Gabriel backed up to the wall. She had long black hair, a crown, and dark makeup. "We're waiting for you," the lady said and disappeared.
"What the heck happened!" Gabriel said.
He got off of the wall and ran to his room. He looked at his alarm clock,7:00.
"Gabriel come on! You're going to be late for school!" shouted a female voice.
"I'll be right there mom!" he shouted back.
He left his room and ran downstairs. He grabbed his black backpack and grabbed his shoes. He ran to the garage and got in the car. He looked down to put on his shoes and when he looked up he saw the lady that was in his mirror was now in his garage. Gabriel locked the doors and looked back at the lady, but she was gone. Bang! Bang! Gabriel jumped and looked to his left. He saw his mom banging on the door. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. Gabriel didn't look anything like his mom especially for his eyes. He unlocked the door and his mom got in the car. Her hair was in a messy ponytail. Compared to everyone's mom his mom looked like a model. No matter how she dressed she always looked good.
They drove to school in silence. Once they go to his school Gabriel said bye and left the car. He walked across the street to school. Girls started to look at and they waved. He smiled at the girls and continued walking. He waited for Marc in front of the school. Gabriel leaned against a wall and he started messing with his hair.
"Hey Gabriel," said a sweet voice.
He turned towards the voice and saw his best friend Fiona. She had dirty blonde hair, peach skin, greens eyes, and was sixteen years old. She was very pretty, they were just best friends.
"Oh, hey Fiona, Gabriel smiled.
"So who are you waiting for?"
"Marc."
"Oh. Late like usual."
"Yah."
Then they lady that was in the mirror showed up. Gabriel tensed and out of the corner of his eye he saw Fiona tense up too.
"You can see her too?" Gabriel asked in a shaky voice.
"Yah, she showed up in my bathroom mirror when I was washing my face," she said.
"Same here."
"It's really creepy how she just shows up out of nowhere."
"I know, right? This is my third time seeing her and she still makes me jump."
"This is my second time seeing her."
"Hey, is she walking towards us?"
"I think so. Why can't anyone else see her"
"I don't know."
Then they lady pointed her finger towards the both of them. Then a purple, puffy cloud came to her finger tips and she shot it towards the both of them. They both dived out of the way and the wall started to drip green stuff. Then the thing fully formed. It was green, tall, had sharp teeth, fat, has a bald head, tiny head, and super muscular. All the kids that were around froze in place. Then one girl screamed and all the kids started running away. Gabriel got up and ran over to Fiona. He helped her up and they both ran into the school.
