"Look at you, fatty"
"Why are you looking at me?"
"Clear a path! The elephant is coming through!"
This was school for me. Being pushed into lockers wasn't knew to me, it happened everyday.
I look straight down at my shoes, as usual. I just want to leave. I always want to leave here. And everyone else wants me to leave too.

I don't know why everyone chose me, but it just happened. One day I had friends, the next I didn't. One day I was happy, the next I wasn't.
For a while I was pretty sure it was the normal high school drama that everyone goes through at one point. Unfortunately the torment never stopped. All the way through my second year of high school and into my third.

"And where do you think you're going?" Oh the familiar sound of death smiling down at me.
"What? no love for Kyle." He said sounding hurt. I didn't have to look at his face to know he was smirking. Kyle is the school heartthrob and douchebag. He's unpredictable when it comes to what he will do to torment me.
"Oh come on baby, why don't you get down on your knees and show everyone what you've been dying to do." He whispers in my ear.
Fake.
Fake.
All the rumors are fake.
I try pushing past him as my eyes water. Unfortunately I didn't anticipate the foot of his friend that was so eager to trip me. I stumbled, as I heard Kyle's friend laugh.
I fell into someone but I couldn't see who it was and once I recovered my balance, I made it my mission to not look up to find out.
"I'm sorry." I said as I began walking away.
"Oh no, honey, don't be." A sweet voice said from behind me. A hand touched my arm. I would've been fooled by her sincerity, if I didn't know who it was. "Instead, tell me how these lockers taste." My arm was then pulled and I collided with a locker. I heard plenty of laughs from behind me. I'm sure it was hilarious to see a girl get a possible concussion.
With my eyesight blurry, I tried to walk to class, even though it didn't matter how long it would take me to get there, I was already late.
It's just me, against the school.
