"Logan Lerman?"She stated"He's this actor"
"Is that why he's famous?"I questioned.
"Well,yea,but he's also very...handsome"She admitted,sort of giggling.
"I heard that there's a Percy Jackson convention in New York this week, maybe he'll be there and you can meet him or something"She continued"and with your good looks, maybe he'll give you his number."
She squeezed my cheek,as if I were a child. So,there's a Percy Jackson convention,huh?Interesting....very interesting.Maybe Father knew this, and that's why he gave me so much money.Conventions probably aren't all that cheap.Plus,I'll probably have to stay in a hotel for a couple of days, too. It's perfect it he makes an appearance there, because then my whole mission will be simplified. All I have to do is grab my gun and shoot him. That reminds me,I have to make sure I successfully pass my gun through the metal detector.I remember that during one session of training,I learned how to pass the gun through a metal detector. At the time,Father's motive was:if you ever had to escape this state, you need a gun. But,I guess that this was the true motive.
"By the way,"Alli chirped, her voice smooth and girly like "my brother,Evan will be at the airport in New York to pick you up,because there's no airports in the city.I hope that's fine."
She turned her face to see if I was going to nod or shake my head, she bit her plump bottom lip, possibly because she was anxious for an answer.
"Yeah,"I nodded my head"yeah,it's all good."
I knew I shouldn't have said that.I know, this Evan kid a relative, but,he's practically a stranger to me.So,it would be like going into a car with a stranger. But then again, isn't Alli the same story?
She grinned, the sun finally coming back for some fun,it's luminous rays reflecting on her sun kissed hair and icy blue eyes. She was honestly gorgeous, and I wished that I looked like her.I resented myself, and I envied her because she had such confidence and an innocent face.Or at least it seemed like that.I looked down at my wrist, and there was scars splattered on from about a month ago. It's not as noticeable now, which was great,I didn't need Alli to throw 20 questions at me at the same time and suffocate me because I self harm.
It was too difficult of a subject to discuss.
Finally, after what had seemed like 18 more years,we made it to the airport. It was so....so bright....It was completely white,I squinted a little, and I saw more. The bushes lined up right along the sides of the building. The gawky trees, that had chairs and tables rested below it.Possibly, for some workers are on a lunch break,Then I noticed the sky the most.It wasn't cloudy anymore,it was so clear, and the blue was....so....elegant and lightly painted.I'm so used to gray skies, and thunder filled evenings. This was truly something out of the ordinary for me.
Alli hopped out of the truck, and climbed into the back, latching my luggage.
"Woah,it's like you have feathers in here"She gasped, amazed at how light the suitcase was.
"Yeah, well,I don't really need much"I shrugged my shoulders, latching the suitcase from her hand, and we walked inside.Once we entered, she froze and stared at me with a sigh.
"Well,I would say a long good bye,but we've only known each other for the time being, besides you're already late for your flight already,so-"
"WHAT!?"
"Yes,I forgot to tell you that,I'm very forgetful"She giggled, and placed a finger on her lip.
I rolled my eyes.
"Well, good bye then."She gaily cheered. She pulled me into a tight hug.
"Don't forget to take photos"She talked into my hair, her perfume blowing into my nose. She smelt so girly and like freshly grown roses that bloom in the spring"and show them to me when you come back."
