There's something about frat parties that made them absolutely annoying. Perhaps it was all the drunk dancers hitting against you, or the ominous smell of pot that lingered in the air, or maybe it was just the whole scene in general.

Truthfully, I was only here because my boyfriend, Lucas Billfort, was the president of Alpha Delta. It seemed surprising to many that we were even dating mainly because he was the rich, popular frat and I was more reserved.

I sipped from my flask filled with a fruit punch Capri Sun, sitting on a kitchen stool and trying to look for my boyfriend. He said he was using the bathroom, but it's been like fifteen minutes and he promised tonight was the night. You know, the night we finally committed to each other. See, Lucas Billfort was popular for two reasons; he's insanely hot and rich, and two; he sleeps around....a lot. But, when we started dating in freshman year of college he promised to never sleep with another girl again. But, I wanted him to stay with me and what better way to do that than commit, really commit.

At that moment, Charlie Roman, one of Logan's friends, tumbled into the kitchen holding a crushed can of Bud Light. His face lit up when he saw me and he stumbled drinking my over. My face was pinched in disgust.

"Whaaaaat?" He slurred, pointing at me even though he was only a few feet away."You're Josephine, Logan's girlfriend!"

"Glad to see your eyes work, Roman,"I rolled my eyes, and tried to move my nose away so I wouldn't smell the reek of alcohol on his breath."Do you want a gold star?" I added sarcastically.

He threw his head back in laughter like I was the funniest person alive."I just can't believe it! You to be lying!"

I sighed and tapped my foot impatiently, just wanting him to leave me alone."How can I be lying to you about who I am? I'm clearly right in front of you."

"Becaaause," he drug out in a 'duh' tone and I rolled my eyes again."If you're down here...who's up stairs having sex with Logan?"

My eyes widened and I pushed Charlie out of the way. The staircase was on the other side of the room but I managed to push past every dancing dunkard in twenty seconds flat. I took the stairs two at a time and reached the second level of the house. Most of the doors were unlocked and open except for the one at the far end. Logan's room.

I rushed to the end of the hall and flung open the door, there on the bed were two lumps moving under the covers. Suddenly, a giggling brunette popped up.

The girl took notice of me."Babe, we have company."

"Sweet," the undeniable voice of my boyfriend spoke, moving out from under the covers."Wanna be in a threeso- oh my god, Joey, it's not what it looks like."

I was fuming at this point, and I was pretty sure if you looked hard enough you could see a trail of smoke file out through my ears.

"Oh, I think it's exactly what it looks like." I growled, and because I couldn't stand to be around them without feeling like becoming a psycho-murder, I slammed the door shut and ran down the stairs.

I wanted to leave straight away, but I remembered my purse and phone were still in the kitchen. I pushed through the crowd once more, hearing my name being shouted from the stairs.

"Hey," Charlie stopped me, way more inebriated since when I left him five minutes ago m."You okay? It's not like we both didn't see Logan cheating coming, right?"
