Jenna was doing her homework when her phone rang. She picked it up and saw that her best friend Eric was calling. "Hey," she said into the phone.
"Hi, listen, we need to talk," Eric said, sounding sad.
"Okay, what's up," she responded.
"My parents just told me.... We are moving next week" Jenna's heart sank. She and Eric had been friends since... well, forever. They had lived in the same town, in the same houses since they had been born.
"We're moving to Maine," he continued
He told Jenna that his dad had gotten a better job offer there, and since it was a last-minute offer, they had to leave as soon as possible.
