"It's beauty in the struggle, ugliness in the success"
-J.Cole

Masai Leilani Good

Growing up was the worst. It wasn't like I was poor or anything but, I was the fifth child out of nine.I feel like growing up I didn't always get the attention that I have always longed for, don't get me wrong I wasn't negletced just now spoiled to death. When I was younger I was closest with my older brother Melvin who is three years older than me and my younger sister Mariah who is 11 months younger than me.

The lack of attention in my childhood didn't stop me from being sucessful in life though, I graduated from Tennessee State University less than a year ago to become a real estate agent. My career is going great but my love life sucks, in my life its always one or the other never both. I've had a couple relationships that didn't work out to well. My latest was with a man named Larry, he was so nice the first few months of dating then he just went crazy so I had to let him go.

Right now I was about to leave my office to go to the weekly family dinner that my parents host every thursday. Why they picked thursday to have dinner, I dont know. When I got to my parents house I rang the door bell and waited a few seconds until my sister Monica opened the door.

"Hi Masai" my older sister Monica said, giving me the fakest hug ever.

I rolled my eyes to myself before saying "Hi Monica" just as fake as she did.

As long as I could remember Monica has never liked me. When I was younger I would get upset about it but now its like girl you are almost 40 get over your self. As I walked down th hallway to my parents kitchen I admired all of the pictures that had hung up on the walls of my siblings and I.

"Hi Dad" I said kissing my fathers cheeck. My father Malik Good is the owner of Good Enterprises, he was 55 and could pass as it he 40.

"How are you Princess" he replied. My dad and I have always been closes than my mom and I only becuase he was more understanding than she was at times.

"I'm fine dad, just busy" I said with a shrug.

"Well hello to you to Sai" my mom said with an attitude.

"Hi mom" I said with a smile."So what are we eating tonight" I asked.

***

After leaving dinner I went straight home showering and going right to bed because I have a big client the next day.

Next Day ~ 8:30 am

Right now I am in my office waiting for my client to come in, I hate clients that dicide to come in at their own time when they have an appointment set up. About five minutes later two men walk into my office.

Before speaking I looked down at my paper work." So are you guys ready to see some houses" I asked.
