Your POV
I was no longer in between platforms 9 and 10. I was not running towards a brick wall anymore. I was perfectly fine as I walked through the crowds of people. I dragged my wheeled trunk across the bumpy, uneven ground of Kings Cross Station, Platform 9 3/4. I was grinning from ear to ear as I passed families saying final goodbyes to their children. After a long, relaxing summer, I was finally going back to Hogwarts. My home.

I had said goodbye to my family on platform 9. They had to get back to the Ministry so it was a rushed departure. I look around for someone to walk with but there was nobody. Lily must already be in the train. A whistle blew and smoke billowed out of the Hogwarts Express. I pushed my trolley to the train and put my main trunk away in a compartment on the side of the Hogwarts Express. As a man lifted it in along with other cases, I picked up my hand luggage and my Owl named (owl name) and shuffled awkwardly onto the beautiful, scarlet train.

The corridors are so crowded it was mayhem. (Owl Name) twittered quietly in his/her cage as I tried to find a compartment. They were all full. I wandered through the endless corridors until I walked straight into four boys accidentally, and fell over. The boys stared at me. One had glasses and messy hair, one was very small, one had jet black long hair and his tie half way down his shirt and the final one had camel coloured hair with some faded scars upon his face. The one with camel coloured hair helped me up as I mumbled sorry.

"OY! Y/L/N! Watch where you are going!" said the boy with the jet black hair that I knew to be Sirius.

"God Y/N. I mean that is just shocking," James said with a disappointed expression across his face. He was shaking his head.

"Oh. Sorry guys." I said awkwardly as the Marauders look me up and down. I pushed a strand of H/C hair out of my face. James and Sirius started laughing.

"We were joking!" Sirius laughed.

I gave them a weak smile and tried to walk past them. But Remus stopped me with a grin on his face.

"And where do you think you are going, Y/L/N?"

"Don't call me Y/L/N. My name is Y/N thank you very much," I said quietly.

"OHHH GET TOLD MOONY!" James shouted at the top of his voice. "Y/N TOLD YOU ALRIGHT!" I went red as everyone else in the corridors looked at us. I stared at the floor.

"Hey, Y/N. No need to be shy around us. We are all chill here. Siriusly."
James smirked while trying not to burst out laughing. Sirius gave his best friend the death stare.

"Prongs," he said, "That isn't punny."

There was a silence. Then it was broken by the Marauders laughing their heads off. I couldn't help but join in. We were all just standing in the train corridors laughing until I felt a jolt on the ground. The view from out the window begins to slowly change as the Hogwarts Express slowly pulled out of Kings Cross Station.

"We should get a carriage," Remus said matter-of-factly.

The rest of the Marauders nodded then looked at me. I could feel my cheeks going red. Again.

"Hey, Y/N, you are free to join us if you want," Remus smiled, "It might be nice to have someone smart in the carriage rather than these idiots."

Remus nodded to the 3 boys behind him. The boys were making stupid faces. I smiled back at them but shook my head.

"I was going to sit with Lily if that's ok. Maybe later."

James grinned and spoke in his ridiculously loud voice.

"Oh. It would've been nice to sit with you. Anyway, tell Lily that I said will you go out with me?"

I laughed along with James as they skidded into a compartment, chatting loudly and laughing. Idiots. I turned on my heels and went in search for Lily.
