The Hike

"Stop shoving me Marisa!" cried Desiray. " Well you're walking slow!" said Marisa. Strolling thru the thick woods to meet Eva and Katie at the meeting spot, they take a little rest. This isn't just any spot. This is a haunted cave that Eva found on her morning jog. No one has ever dared to venture through the cave. Well not until now. Meanwhile back at the meeting spot awaits Eva and Katie. "Where are they?"says Katie. "I don't know" said Eva with conviction.

Marisa and Desiray head up the hill. What they don't realize is that there is an awful sound of dead silence. "It's quite.. Too quiet." says Marisa. "Yeah, I was just thinking that." says Desiray replying to Marisa's retorical response.
Then they hear a crunch of a twig snap behind them. They turn around to see what happened. "Ahhh!" screams Marisa and Desiray holding onto each other with dear life. Only to be frightened by a mear squirrel, they were quickly relieved. When the little creature scurried off the two turned around and headed back up the hill. But what Desiray and Marisa didn't know was that the squirrel was acting as a distraction. When Desiray and Marisa turned around they were struck with fear right down to their bones. A rabid, fearal wolf staring at them with the most terrible growl. They both doged past the wolf running for dear life. When Marisa tripped she thought that she was done for. Soon to become the wolf's lunch. "No!" says Desiray "You've got to get up!" "I can't, I twisted my ankle!" Desiray quickly braces Marisa enough for her to walk and they start to run. They finally found a hollowed log to hide in. The wolf was now gone. They start up the hill again. After all of what has gone on they finally made it to the cave.
