It was around 8am and I was just about to leave for my morning run around the busy streets of London, I grabbed my phone from my kitchen counter and plugged my earphones into it and shoved it into my armband. I started my run as soon as I got out of my apartment building and took a different route than usual, I just took the longer way to the little cafe that I went to after my run. The longer way took around 10 minutes longer but not much, it didn't seem as busy in London today. When I got to the cafe, there were two people in there, one an old woman that came in everyday, the second a very attractive, young man who I did recognise, but I'm not too sure from where. I ordered my usual juice blend and sat down at a coffee table in the corner, I stayed for about ten minutes then decided to leave, as I did, the man was also leaving and we accidentally bumped into each toner, causing me to spill my coffee and for him to drop his papers. I wasn't bothered about the coffee but I quickly picked up the papers, causing us to bump heads. Cliche love story, isn't it just? "I am so sorry. I hope they aren't ruined." I told him. He smiled and replied "It's okay if they are, I have them saved on my computer, I was just reading them. I'm Joe by the way," I smiled. "I'm Imogen, nice to meet you." We walked out of the shop together and realised that we live in the same building but Joe had only recently moved in, in place of my old neighbour Aria. "This may sound weird as I'm just a man that you met in a coffee shop twenty minutes ago but, could I have your number?" Joe asked as we arrived at the door to my apartment. I wrote my number on the top of his document and told him that if he needs anything I'm there.
Over the next few days Joe and I became really close, even though I had lived in London for almost five months, I didn't really have many friends except for my friends just outside of London of whom I didn't mind travelling for. We started hanging out and going between the apartments and just having movie nights with pizza, and he also started vlogging around me which I was perfectly fine with. We were both sat in Joe's apartment now waiting for the views and comments to come in for his recent vlog featuring me. The comments started to come in 'She's so gorgeous!' 'I ship #Jimogen! New OTP!' I smiled and hugged Joe, we weren't together but I probably do count him as my best friend, I've never really had one of those either. The rest of the day was spent with Joe in London and at Nandos, hundreds of tweets about the recent vlog and me getting a lot more followers on both Twitter and Instagram.
