While I walk home from a late night shift  my mind just wonders as my body kicks into auto-drive as my thoughts consume all of my senses.

Life is always boring for me. What can I do? What is there for an eighteen-year-old girl do in an annoying city like mines? I mean all I got is college then work, then friends and then home. Seriously, where is the excitement. The action. The journey. I mean what can I do, it's the same routine the same day and the same exact schedule just a different activity. I get my life has just pretty much started but everything just parts of the norm.

Like the other day, I decided to go through my day pretending to be some fictional character known as Zero. Yeah, she's childish and all but it did bring some excitement to my life. Of course, I couldn't actually kill anyone but at least, it was different. Though, strangely it was like I just disrupted the norm. How can my friends and everyone expect me to conform into socitety when society is boring. Just doing something different made it seem like I was going to some mess up moment in life but why does change have to always indicate that shit is going on in my life? what if I was just bored? Or looking for a change?

While my mind continues to wonder throughout the way home I eventually arrive. As soon as I'm standing in front of my home I let out a sigh and a small mumble under my breath "great, today's over and the same day tomorrow" My house isn't that big, just a blue house with a white door and white trims, eh it's a nice little house nothing special and pretty empty . Anyways, I walk up to my home and walks in, dropping my bag and heading to the backyard. On my way, I grab a bottle of water and a bag of freshly baked cookies my roommate tend she normally tend to bring. Not sure if she makes it, though, I hardly ever want to stay indoors. With no clue, whether my roommates home or not, I find myself a nice spot to sit by this river and enjoy the view.

I know it's weird, for most, since I do say I live in the city but I got lucky enough to score a jackpot  with the cheapest home at the edge of the city. Right near the front of a mountain and it's been great over there but the critters and headache of their invasions is annoying but unpredictable. So that's great, wish it happen more often, though. Anyways, as I spend my time eating some cookies I glance up and notice the first star just came out and in the middle of the thoughts I decided to make a wish...
