"But Nathanial is dead!" Valery exclaimed "i was there when he died"

"but now he's back....and a vampire." Alex said. duh

"No shit Sherlock" I said. of course he was a vampire that's the reason he was alive.

You might ask 'who's Nathanial' so I'm going to describe how he looks like then tell you who he is.

Nathanial has dark brown hair like Alex, light blue eyes like Alex's mom, again if I remember he was the hot guy who made everyone swoon like Alex but I gotta admit Alex was a girls all time favorite. Still don't know who he is?

Nathanial is Alex's older brother. But only by a year to be exact.

"wait why is he a problem?" Valery asks.

that's when I got exactly why Alex came.

I smiled my evil smile looked at Alex and said " Nathanial is a problem because Alex here killed him. And Alex came here to tropical Florida so that we could help him with his bro prob."

"whatever" Alex said. he didn't meet my eyes though.

I lifted my eyebrows "so I'm right? yay me!" I grinned.

"why should we help you? Valery said. wow..... I never thought she'd say that. usually Valery is laid back and says yeah but that question made her win an Oscar for finally questioning something.

I clapped making both Valery and Alex( and a few other people) look at me puzzled.

"why are you clapping? Valery asked.

"because YOU FINALLY QUESTIONED SOMEONE?" I said happily smiling.

Valery rolled her eyes " anyways Alex why he even a problem." I opened my mouth to say what I had said again but Valery beat me to it "ok I know Alex killed him but why is he a problem?" this chick is seriously blind. "its not like he wants revenge or........wait he want revenge?"

I put on my 'well duh' face.

Alex sighed "yes Valery how clueless are you?"

"whatever but fine I'll help you" there's my Valery.

"I'm not." I said.

"come on April please?" Valery said pouting.

"no. just because you agree doesn't mean I have to" I said. I will not throw my existence away for Alex.

Alex pulled me to him and put his arms around me and started kissing my neck making me hot. wait what? um am I supposed to have these feelings towards him. and is he kissing my neck. oh hell no.

"please April" he said looking into my eyes. something sparked in them. wow I sound cliché.

I smirked when his lips were an inch near mine. "nope" I said popping the p. jesus how many times do I have to do that today? I pushed him away. He had a shocked look on his face. I smiled

"did you really think I was going to give in?"I said.

you might be saying how can you resist someone as hot as him. two words. best friend. I know your saying that I have feeling for him and trust me I know. I've had it ever since I can he turned me. but it was just a little crush.

Valery did a wolf whistle. let's ignore her.

" hey guys" Cassie said coming towards us.( Cassie is a vampire friend of ours)

She stopped when she saw Alex.
