-Sky's PoV-
Wondrous, amazing- ALL OF YOUR GOD DAMN WISHES WERE FUCKING GRANTED WHEN YOU ENROLLED HERE! That's what they said when my parents enrolled me into this place. An academy for the talented, apparently people just decide that their friends mean nothing to them anymore and they go here to be better than everyone.
I sighed as I stared at the large columns that towered over me and were placed twenty feet away from the large double doors that would open and I would be bombarded by teachers and pamphlets ad whatnot. Can't a guy just find his dorm and crash for the day? I thought bitterly as I began my stride toward the entrance.
I cautiously pushed the door open and, who would of guessed it, I was immediately rushed to the headmaster's office. He began to inform me something and I just kind of pushed it out of my focus because I already know what he's going to tell me, "We're so pleased to have such a talented young man as yourself join our humble academy, Mr. Bladekiller. We hope you have a wonderful time here and use your talent for your own capabilities and- blah blah blah."
I feel like he says the same thing to every new student here. He was smiling, and yet why could I tell he was wishing he could chew out one of his major arteries just to get out of saying this monologue? I was cut off from my thoughts when he said, "And I wouldn't recommend going to room 6-E. There was an... incident that occurred last year that made us clear out the block it was placed in."
I looked away from the window I was staring out of and stared at him, "What happened in 6-E-"
He laughed nervously and ushered me out of the door. "I hope you have a wonderful time here and the boys dormitory are east of here!" he shut the door.
I frowned and just started to walk out of the main building and saw a bunch of students bundled into groups or by themselves in the courtyard. I took note of the fact that there were middle school students and high school students here and just started walking. I saw out of the corner of my eye a few girls whispering to each other and some guys taking glances toward me. Probably because you look like a gullible idiot just looking around here moron. I thought and just started to walk faster.
I was only a few meters away from the dorm entrance when something small and in motion ran into me. Both me and the unknown force fell onto the concrete. I think I skinned my knee. Growling I pushed myself up and look down. There on the ground was a girl with creamy white hair rubbing her head. She was wearing a white long sleeved button up shirt under a brown long sleeved sweater. She had a dark brown hoodie on and it seemed to be falling off of her body, yet it still hung onto her sides for dear life. She had on an even darker brown Capri leggings and she wasn't wearing shoes. Odd.
She opened her eyes, they were an orange peach color. I just noticed the umber colored streak in her hair. What is with this chick and brown? Her eyes widened, "Oh God, I'm so sorry! I guess I want looking hehe," she awkwardly laughed, like she was trying to get rid of the problem with a joke no one said. She pushed herself up and held her hand out, "Hi there, my name's Coffee," Odd. "Sorry about the tumble we both took."
I looked at her hand, looked back at her, and reluctantly accepted the hand, "Sky." I said bluntly.
She smiled, "Nice to meet you Sky. Is it your first year here?" I nodded. "That's nice. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go pay my friend back for not noticing where she was shoving me." and with that she bolted after some other girl who was hastily making a break for it.
I just sort of followed them with my eyes until they were out of my line of sight. I said nothing and began walking into the dorm.
