Grizz heaved a heavy sigh of not only excitement and anticipation, but also of anxiousness as his strong legs helped him reach the peak of the hill. The view of the beautiful San Fransisco skyline before him astonished him greatly, yet he knew he and his siblings would have trouble fitting in to the human culture and environment. Nevertheless, he called his brothers up to share the gorgeous scene. The symbolic Golden Gate Bridge lay on the horizon, and the historic AT&T Park was active with cheers and jeers from the fans. He knew Panda would want to take a scenic city picture for his online profile, always attempting to impress his female friends in hopes of a date. He knew Ice Bear would need to formulate a mental image of the city street layout, in case they somehow became lost. Grizz knew Ice Bear deeply cared for his siblings, and Grizz loved him for that. Grizz was just happy to be here, in this moment, with the bears he loved most.

After a good moment of seeing the city from above in silent awe, Grizz motioned for his brothers to follow him down the slope with the goal of reaching the city. As they walked, he breathed in the crisp California air and continued to just feel happy to be alive. He didn't know how or why, but he knew the day would be a great one.

Downtown San Francisco was a sight. Grizz grinned in awe at the homely atmosphere, cozy buildings, and nice people that met him when his gang rolled into the area. The streets were bustling with activity on the scorching summer day. As Ice Bear continued to carry his brothers past some interesting shops and stands, Grizz couldn't help but wonder why Panda wasn't as happily amazed by the beauty of this town as he himself really was. Yet, he was too enthralled by his view that he didn't bother to ask.

A half hour or so of meandering later, the three bears, in their iconic stack, reached Union Square, their destination. It was located in the heart of the city, so the bears figured it would be a decent starting point.

Since Grizz was on top of the stack, it was his sole duty as navigator to pinpoint possible choices for travel. He looked around the plaza. Dozens of individual shops and stores lined the edge of the Square, all filled to the brim with customers and general tourists. At the center of the Square was a tall monument with a statue of an (assumed) important man. The brown bear decided that their first course of action would be to peruse through a few of the various shops lining the plaza before exploring the rest of San Fransisco.

He looked down at his brothers. He became irritated when he noticed Panda on his phone, texting one of his contacts. This wouldn't do, especially during such an otherwise exciting event.

He nudged his brother. "Come on Pan Pan," he said through gritted teeth. "This is supposed to be the day we have fun together, right? Surely, uh, 'Alan' can wait till later, yeah?"

"No, Grizz, this is important! I missed the new episode of Steven Universe last night and if I don't stop Alan, he's gonna spoil it for me!" Panda snapped before sticking his nose back in his phone.

Grizz groaned audibly. "Ice Bear can you he-" Grizz paused as he noticed that his other brother was involved in another activity as well. The polar bear was reading what appeared to be a book full of various poems, written entirely in French. Grizz was furious. He hopped down from the stack and got his siblings' attention by stamping his feet on the concrete. Panda and Ice Bear each looked up curiously.

"What is it Grizz?" Panda asked.

"Look at you guys," Grizz responded with utter disappointment in his tone. "Focused on doing boring things when we're in the middle of a huge and exciting city, filled with wonders and adventure! This is a huge moment in our lives!" Grizz then looked at Panda intently. "Panda, it was your idea to head here in the first place! Did we come here to this beautiful city for nothing?"

He then looked down at the youngest sibling. "And Ice Bear, didn't you say yourself that you wanted to taste some of the 'exquisite Pacific cuisine?' The Ice Bear I know never goes back on his word, and we can't do anything if you two are busy doing other things!" Grizz tried to calm himself down and looked around. He had been attracting some bystanders with his loud yelling. He sighed and bowed his head. "I just wanna have some fun with my brothers..." He mumbled.

Panda felt a small tear run down his furry cheek as he put away his cell phone and hopped off his younger brother's back. He trotted over to Grizz and hugged him wholeheartedly. Grizz sniffled and looked up at his brothers. Ice Bear had come over too, to join in on the group hug that had commenced.

Panda patted Grizz's back as he admitted, "You're right, Grizz. I shouldn't be on my phone when I could be spending some quality time with my two favorite brothers!" He squeezed his two comrades more tightly.

Ice Bear then opened his mouth to speak, a rare occasion. "Ice Bear is very sorry," he apologized in a monotone.

Grizz felt a tiny grin form on his lips. He rose from his seated position and hugged his brothers back. "Aww, you guys are the best." The crowd that gathered around the group "ooohed" and "aaahed" in compassion. One emotional lady even began to sob uncontrollably and blew her nose into a blue handkerchief.

The hug was broken and the audience dispersed quickly. Grizz smiled broadly at his companions and said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go have fun!"
