Have you ever wondered what happened to them? They are still here. They are hiding, and they have been for many years. One of them could be sitting right next to you and you would never know. They aren't dangerous, they are in danger, so you have no need to fear them. They only wanted peace, but they never got it. The dragons never got it.

Years ago in a kingdom called Arkendelle, they lived peacefully with the humans, they treated each other as equals. Back then it was easier to tell who was a dragon and who wasn't. Real dragons aren't like the ones you see in most movies, they are actually more like Maleficent, they can transform into dragons or turn into a more human form. When they were in human form they blended in except for one defining feature. Their eyes. Their eyes are the only thing that don't change when they transform. They are constantly gold. Though they're not that obvious now because the only ones left are the half-bloods. There once were pure-bloods, who have no humans in their family tree. Half-bloods have a human somewhere in their bloodline, they have normal human eyes because they can't turn into a dragon. They are fire resistant and some can breathe it, but they can't go full dragon.

Then years later the dragons elected a guy to represent them, his name is Balthazar, with the humans, but he became power hungry and thought that dragons should be in charge of Arkendelle. He wanted to overthrow the king, but he knew he couldn't just kill him or he would never get the support of the people. His plan was to attack the king at his heart. The Queen. He didn't originally plan to kill her just use her as a bargaining chip. They, him and his colleagues, had snuck into the castle and were making their escape with the queen, who was knocked out, when the king with his guards stopped them. The guy who was holding the queen got scared and dropped her, she hit her head on the corner of a podium and died. When Balthazar and his men realized what had happened the jumped out the nearest window and climbed down the side of the castle, and escaped because it was the middle of the night. The king didn't get a good look at his queen's murderers, except for one thing. Their eyes.
