Lydia's POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
I honestly contemplated throwing that darn alarm clock across the room...but noooo having to buy 5 new alarm clocks was too much and I wasn't allowed to get any new ones. So here I am, waking up on a Monday morning just wishing it was Friday at 3:10 when the last bell rings. I jump out of bed...well more like mope but same thing! I go over to my closet and pick out a t-shirt that says Shortest Horror Story: Monday grab some light jeans with holes in the knee and yes my black hightops. I go into my bathroom and brush my black hair into a pony tail and dust some light powder foundation on my face-whatever that does-and run to grab my backpack.
"Bye mom!" I yell from the front door even though I know she was asleep.
Once I get to the bus stop I pull out a pair of headphones and put on my favorite album-CryBaby by Melanie Martinez-the first song that pops up is Pity Party right as the bus pulls up. I sit in the second seat and lean against the window while putting my feet up.
Did my invitations disappear?
Why'd I put my heart on every cursive letter?
Tell me why the hell no one is here
Tell me what to do to make it all feel better
Maybe it's a cruel joke on me
Whatever, whatever
Just means there's way more cake for me
Forever, forever
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to (cry, cry, cry)
I'll cry until the candles burn down this place
I'll cry until my pity party's in flames
Maybe if I knew all of them well
I wouldn't have been trapped inside this hell that holds me
Maybe if I casted out a spell
Or told them decorations were in pastel ribbons
Maybe it's a cruel joke on me
Whatever, whatever
Just means there's way more cake for me
Forever, forever
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to (cry, cry, cry)
I'll cry until the candles burn down this place
I'll cry until my pity party's in flames
I'm laughing, I'm crying
It feels like I'm dying
I'm laughing, I'm crying
It feels like I'm dying
I'm laughing, I'm crying
It feels like I'm dying
I'm dying, I'm dying
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to (cry, cry, cry)
I'll cry until the candles burn down this place
I'll cry until my pity party's in flames
It's my party, it's-it's my party
It's my party, it's-it's my party
It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to (cry, cry, cry)
As soon as i hear the entire album at least once the bus arrives at school. Yay! Don't get me wrong I love school but some of the people-not so much.
"Lydia!" Scarlett yells-Scarlett is that one popular girl in the movies that tries to make friends with the anti-social girl then betrays her-luckily I'm not so stupid.
"Scarlett," I say in a pretty rude voice.
"Well someone woke up one the wrong side of the bed this morning!" She says in voice that can only be described as one used to talk to babies with.
"Or you know...you're just annoying and I want you to get out of my face," I smiled and walked off.
I walked to first hour that day with the biggest grin and no one knew why-that is until I bumped into a surface that could only be what i had feared-A guy.
