A Exciting Day

Little Dalia ran up the steps to her home.She was only a little mice,but could do anything that was possible. Dalia saw her brother at the top of the stairs.

"Mama was looking for you earlier." Dalias brother said.

"I know I know,I was just out walking,that's all."

Dalia ran up to the door and ran inside,she scurried to the kitchen to meet Mama.

"Where were you honey?I was worried about you."Mama said with a worried but happy face.

"I was just walking Mama,that's all,just exploring the world."

"Ok,well wash up for dinner sweetie."Mama said with a sweet smile.

Dalia ran up stairs and put on a dress for dinner.It was christmas time and a bunch of family was coming over to eat and celebrate.She washed up and went down stairs for dinner.Dalia went in the kitchen and sat down next to her brother,Tyler.Tyler was a rugrat but he was a good brother toDalia.Tyler always was loyal toDalia and was there when she needed his help most.

"Wow you look beautiful sis,ready for dinner?"asked Tyler sweetly.

"Why yes,brother,are you ready for dinner?"Dalia asked bitterly.

There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it."Dalia yelled to her mother who was cooking up dinner.

Dalia opened up the door and saw Uncle burk and Aunt lou with their two daughters Nina and Lila.They came in and greeted Mama in the kitchen and Tyler.They all kissed and hugged and greeted each other.A little while later,dinner was done.Everyone sat at the table.Everyone said the prayer and ate joyfully.They talked about family and friends and how winter would be this year.After dinner everyone washed up and said goodbye.Once everyone was asleep,Dalia got up out of bed quietly.She opened the window and jumped out of and outside.Dalia was so relieved to finally be out away from everybody.Dalia quickly noticed someone was behind her.She quickly pulled out her toothpick sword.

"Who's there and what do you want."Dalia said bravely.

With paws up in the air,Tyler came out from a bush and said,"It's just me sis."

"what are you doing here Tyler?You were suppose to stay inside not follow me."Dalia said angrily.

"Well sorry couldn't sleep and I was wondering what you were doing anyway...and If I could come along."

"Fine just stay close and don't do something stupid!!"Dalia said .

So Dalia and Tyler headed down the street heading this way and that way.They past several garbage cans,with nothing in them.Tyler looked confused while Dalia was filled with joy.Finnaly they scurried in a big restaurant called ,Big Mama's Cafe.It was the largest restaurant in the city with a the best food and drinks.They scurried up and up to the top.On the top floor there was litle tables everywhere.

"Wow what is this place?"Tyler asked.

"This is where all the good food is"Dalia proudly said.

Dalia guided him to a little window.Down below was all the cooks cooking,cleaning and doing this and that with the food.Tyler watched shocked.

"I thought we couldn't be around humans?"Tyler asked

"We can't ,but as long as we're away from them and stay out of their way,were fine."

" Oh ok well where do we start?"

They scurried down the ropes and through the doors and in the kitchen.They went into the pantry and saw all the food on the racks.There were breads,cakes,pies,meats,cheeses,and so much more.They went through all of it and picked out food for their dessert.They hurried back to the rooftop and made their own dessert.After eating they roamed around the streets causing people to shriek in terror.After they had fun all night they walked back home.

"So did you have fun?"Dalia asked.

"Best night ever..."Tyler yawned.

"Good I'm glad......"

They hurried inside without making a sound and crawled into bed.

"Sis,Is this what you do everyday?"Tyler asked.

"I go exploring everyday finding new things."Dalia answered.

"I cant believe you do this every night without Mama noticing."

"Yeah.well its a skill I've had since birth....."
