This morning, the smell of a wonderful breakfast cooking had woken me up. With a yawn and a stretch, I slipped on my slipper booties and shrug my white and fluffy robe on. Although, I had recently moved to Texas from my home state of Kentucky, I still always found a way to be cold, even in the middle of summer. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen where the love of my life was concentrated and cooking bacon, eggs, sausage and toast. My heart swelled with love at the sight. When he wasn't touring or at the studio, that man does and would do everything for me.

"Smells good, baby." I whispered as I snaked my arms around his waist. "I could've make breakfast this morning, though."

He shook his head as he turn off all the burners and took the food out of the skillets. He turned around to face me and connect our lips for a sweet kiss.

"You do enough." He said. "You cook every meal, clean the house, do laundry, take care of the pets and wait on me as much as you can, and you do it on the daily. Cooking breakfast is just a token of my appreciation, especially after that phenomenal back message you gave me last night, which was much needed."

"You work so hard, as well as the others, to put out good music and gain fans and help the fans you have, you deserve to come home to a clean house, clean clothes and home cooked meals. I hear they're quite rare on the road." I said with a wink as Brent dished out a plate for me.

I went to sit at the breakfast bar and he poured me some chocolate almond milk and poured him a glass before sitting down next to me. I took a bite out of the eggs, they had a hint of red pepper seasoning, chili powder and hot sauce, he made my favorite spicy scrambled eggs. I made them for him the first time we ever had breakfast together when I first moved to Dallas.

"Brent, babe, that was so good." I said, after I cleaned my plate. "I'll get the kitchen cleaned up."

"No." Brent said with a mouthful of food. "This morning you're not lifting a finger."

With another kiss, I had made my way to the living room and turned on Netflix. I decided on watching "H.H Holmes: America's First Serial Killer", I've watched it so many times, but, it's such a good documentary, I can't get enough of it. 20 minutes into the documentary, Brent had come and sat next to me, his tattooed arm and hand around my waist.

"You and your serial killer documentaries." He said with a shake of his head.

"What? They're interesting!" I said, defending myself, and putting my head on his shoulder.

Brent and I had a lazy day, we ordered food for lunch and dinner, watched a horror movie marathon, cuddled with our cat and dog who followed us up to our bedroom when we realized how tired we were. These are days I live for. Sure, going out with the others and bar hopping is so much fun, but, I love when it's just Brent, myself, and our animals having a lazy day, in reality Brent and I are just a lazy couple.

"Goodnight, Becca." Brent said, sleepily, and kissed my forehead. "I love you."

"Goodnight, Taddie." I mumbled. "And, I love you."
