Flies

A fly's wings're stuck in my eyelashes,
And a roach's leg on my lip
Gagging on a pink slug, swollen and numb against my teeth
Fire on the edges of my eyes and stars in my pupils
Ghost in my chest, my breath is wet
Shimmering sheen of sweat
Double's been seen twice as long ago and I think
There are little worms squirming in my veins
Little worms, little worms, little swarms
Of flies in my eyes
